Prophet Jonah - 10:98
The people of Jonah would have been an exception to this, even if there had been a people whose belief did not benefit them; when they believed, We removed from them the humiliating torment of this worldly life, and We made them live in blessings for a while.
When is faith useless?
The Cattle/6:82
Those who believe and do not mix their faith with wrongdoing, they deserve security and they have found the truth.
The Cattle/6:88
Such is the Guidance of Allah. He guides whomever He wills among His servants and/or whoever He wills to it. Had they associated partners, what they did would have been in vain.
Luqman/31:13
"When Lokman advised his son, he said: "My dear son, do not associate partners with Allah; surely shirk (associating partners with God) is a great wrong."
The Companies/39:65
It has been revealed to you and those before you that if you associate partners, all that you do will be in vain and you will be of the losers.
The Cattle/6:158
"Do they wait for the angels to come to them or for their Lord, or for some signs of their Lord? On the Day when some signs of your Lord come, they will not benefit him who has not believed before, or who has not gained any good in his faith. Say: "Wait, and we are waiting."
The Congregation - Friday/62:5
The example of those who were given the Torah and did not fulfill it is like that of a donkey carrying books. Woe to the people who deny the signs of Allah. Allah does not guide the unjust people to the truth.
