Prophet Hud - 11:34
"He said: "If Allah has willed that you should be corrupt, even if I wish to advise you, my advice will be of no use to you. He is your Lord and to Him you will be returned."
The people of Noah were an unjust people who took gods besides Allah:

"Noah said, "My Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed a man whose money and children only harm him."

And they even set great traps.
Prophet Noah/71:23
They said, ´Do not abandon your gods. Do not leave Vedd, nor Suva, nor Yegus, nor Yeuk, nor Nesr.
Prophet Noah/71:24
They have led many astray. So increase the confusion of the wrongdoers.
