The Thunder - 13:1
A.L.M.R. These (letters) are the miracles of the Book. That which has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.
Why does God show His miracles?
The Night Journey/17:59
The fact that those before denied them did not prevent Us from sending signs. For example, We had clearly given the camel to Thamud. But they wronged him. We send the signs only as a warning.
The Cow/2:118
"The ignorant said, "Should not Allah have spoken to us or a sign (miracle) have come to us?"Those before them had spoken like them. Their minds are alike. We show the miracles to those who believe."

"Abraham said, "My Lord, show me how You raise the dead."He said, "Or do you not believe?"He said, "Yes, but to strengthen my heart.""Take four birds and examine them thoroughly (recognize their different characteristics). We have made you a proof for the people. "When Moses came to us at the appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, appear to me and let me look at you. "You cannot see me. But look at this mountain; if it stands still, then you will see me."When his Lord appeared to the mountain, He shattered it, and Moses fell unconscious. When he came to his senses, he said, "You are great, to You I turn, and I am the foremost of the believers."

"We said, "Strike him (the murdered one) with a part (of the heifer)."This is how Allah raises the dead to life and shows His signs (miracles) so that you may reflect."
The One Wrapping Himself Up/74:31
"We have appointed only angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have made their number (nineteen) a trial for the disbelievers, to convince those who have been given the Book, to strengthen the faith of those who believe, to remove the doubts of those who have been given the Book and those who believe, and for those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers to say, "What does Allah mean by this example?"So Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. None knows the armies of your Lord except Himself. This (number) is a message to the people."
