Prophet Abraham - 14:35
"Once Abraham said: "My Lord, make this town safe and protect me and my children from serving idols."

The first house established for the people was the blessed house in Bakkah, a source of guidance for all peoples.
The Family Of Imran/3:97
There are clear signs there: It is the place of Abraham´s stand (against idolatry). Whoever enters it must be in safety. Those of the people who are able to travel are obliged to pilgrimage to that House (the Ka´bah) for the sake of Allah. Whoever disbelieves, let him know that Allah is not in need of anyone.

"We have made the Ka´bah a focal point for the people and a place of safety. Use the seat of Abraham as a place of prayer. "We commissioned Abraham and Ishmael to keep My House clean for the visitors and those who devote themselves to worship and those who bow down and prostrate themselves."

Allah has made the Ka´bah, the sacred house, the sacred months, the sacrifices and the wreaths marking them, a security for mankind. Know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is All-Knowing.

But to turn away from the way of Allah and to be ungrateful to Him and to the Holy Mosque and to drive out its people from it is a greater sin with Allah. For oppression and cruelty is a greater crime than killing."If they could, they would fight you until they turn you back from your religion. Whoever of you turns away from his religion and dies as an unbeliever, all that he did will be in vain in this world and in the Hereafter. They are the people of the Fire and will abide therein forever."
The Repentance/9:36
The number of months in Allah´s Book on the day He created the heavens and the earth is twelve according to Allah. Four of them are sacred. This is the perfect religion; do not wrong yourselves in those months (by fighting). But if the idolaters fight you in a total war, then fight them in a total war. Know that Allah is with the righteous.

The holy month can only be observed on both sides. The observance of the truce is mutual. If they attack you, attack them in kind. Listen to Allah and know that Allah is with the righteous.
