Prophet Abraham - 14:44
"Warn the people of the Day when the torment will come to them. The wrongdoers will say, "Our Lord, postpone us until a near term, so that we may join your call and follow the messengers". But did you not swear before that your end would not come?"
When the disbelievers see the torment, they ask for another chance.

"If you had only seen the guilty when they bowed their heads before their Lord: "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so turn us back so that we may act righteously; now we have firmly believed."

"Are they waiting for the fulfillment of its news? On the Day when its news is realized, those who disregarded it before will say: "The messengers of our Lord brought the truth.
