The Night Journey - 17:28
If you have to turn away from them in order to obtain a mercy from your Lord which you hope for, speak a soft word to them.
The Mercy which the believers hope for from their Lord:
The Heights/7:156
"Write for us good in this world and in the Hereafter. We turn to you."He said: "My punishment will touch whom I will. But My Mercy is all-encompassing; I will write it especially for those who lead a righteous life, pay the zakat and believe in Our verses."
The Kneeling/45:30
As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is the clear victory.
The Forgiver/40:9
Protect them from evil. Whomever You protect from evil on that Day, You will have mercy on them. This is the great victory.
The Cattle/6:16
Whoever is turned away from torment on that Day, (God) has mercy on him. That is the greatest victory.
The Family Of Imran/3:185
Everyone will taste death. On the Day of Resurrection your rewards will be given to you in full. And whoever is rescued from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he is victorious. The life of this world is but a deceitful pleasure.
Mary/19:68
By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils. Then We will bring them around Hell. On their knees.

Then We will weed out from every group those who have gone far in transgression against the Most Merciful.

Surely We know well who is most deserving of burning therein.

There is none of you who will not come therein; this is a sure decision of your Lord.

Then We will save the righteous. And We will leave the wrongdoers on their knees therein.
