Ta-Ha - 20:40 Remember when your sister went and said, ´Shall I show you someone to take care of him? So We returned you to your mother so that her eyes would be enlightened and she would not grieve. Even when you had killed a man, We saved you from sorrow and put you through various tests. Now you have come back, Moses, after many years among the people of Medina, according to a definite plan.
He remained among the people of Median for many years:
The Stories/28:20 "A man came running from the other side of the city and said, "Moses, the elders are talking among themselves to kill you. Leave this place quickly; I am advising you."
The Stories/28:21 "He fled from there in fear, watching the surroundings. He said: "My Lord, save me from this unjust people."
The Stories/28:22 "When he turned toward Median, he said, "I hope my Lord will guide me to the truth."
The Stories/28:24 "He watered for them, then withdrew into the shade and said, "My Lord, I am in need of whatever You will grant me."
The Stories/28:25 "Soon one of them came to him, ashamed, and said, "My father wants to pay you for watering for us."When he met him and told him what had happened to him, he said, "Do not be afraid,"he said, "You have been saved from the oppressors."
The Stories/28:26 "One of them said, "My father, give him work. He is the best of those you have hired; he is strong and trustworthy."
The Stories/28:27 "He said, "I want to marry you to one of my daughters on condition that you work for me for eight pilgrimages. You can make it ten (years) if you wish. I do not want to cause you any hardship. If Allah wills, you will find me a righteous person."
The Stories/28:29 "When Moses fulfilled that term and set out with his family, he saw a fire on the slope of Tur and said to his family, "Stay here, I have seen a fire; perhaps I will bring you news of it or a fire-wood so that you may warm yourselves with it."
