Ta-Ha - 20:50
"(Pharaoh) said: "Our Lord is He who gives everything its form and then shows it its way."
Dialog between Prophet Moses and Pharaoh:
The Heights/7:104
"Moses: "Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the Universes."
The Heights/7:105
It is my duty not to say anything about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with a proof from your Lord; release the Children of Israel with me.
The Heights/7:106
"He said: "If you have come with a sign (miracle) and you are truthful, bring it."
Ta-Ha/20:47
"Come to him and say, ´We are the messengers of your Lord. Stop your torture of the Children of Israel and send them away with us. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. Peace be upon those who follow the right path.
Ta-Ha/20:48
"It has been revealed to us: Those who deny and turn away will be punished."
Ta-Ha/20:49
"(Pharaoh) said: "Who is your Lord, Moses?"
Ta-Ha/20:50
"(Pharaoh) said: "Our Lord is He who gives everything its form and then shows it its way."
Ta-Ha/20:51
"He said: "And what about the past generations?"
Ta-Ha/20:52
Their knowledge is recorded with my Lord. My Lord does not err nor forgets.
Ta-Ha/20:53
He made the earth habitable for you, and made paths in it for you, and sent down water from the sky, and with it We brought forth plants of various kinds.
Ta-Ha/20:54
Eat and graze the livestock. In this are signs for those who have intelligence.
Ta-Ha/20:55
We created you from that earth, and to it We shall return you again, and from it We shall bring you forth once more.
Ta-Ha/20:56
And We showed him all Our signs and proofs, but he denied and rejected.
Ta-Ha/20:57
"He said, "Have you come to drive us out of our land with your magic, Moses?"
Ta-Ha/20:58
We will show you a similar spell. Set a time for a rendezvous in a place convenient for both of us, so that neither you nor we will back out.
The Poets/26:16
"The two of you go to Pharaoh and say, ´We are messengers from the Lord of the Universes.
The Poets/26:17
"Send the Children of Israel with us."
The Poets/26:18
"He said, "Did We not take you when you were a baby and bring you up, and did you not spend many years of your life among us?"
The Poets/26:19
At last you have done what you were going to do. You are an ungrateful person.
The Poets/26:20
"He said, "I was on the wrong path when I did it."
The Poets/26:21
Then I fled from you for fear of you, and my Lord gave me wisdom and appointed me as a messenger.
The Poets/26:22
And this favor you have bestowed upon me is because you enslaved the Children of Israel!
The Poets/26:23
"Pharaoh said, "What do you mean, Lord of the Universes?"
The Poets/26:24
"He said, "He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you will surely believe."
The Poets/26:25
"He turned to those around him and said, "Do you hear?"
The Poets/26:26
"He said, "He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers before you."
The Poets/26:27
"He said, "The messenger sent to you is surely a madman."
The Poets/26:28
"He said, "He is the Lord of the east and the west and all that is between them, if you use your minds."
The Poets/26:29
"He said, "If you take another god (authority) besides me, I will punish you with imprisonment."
The Poets/26:30
"He said, "Even if I have brought you something clear?"
The Poets/26:31
"He said, "Bring it if you are truthful."
The Stories/28:36
"When Moses went to them with clear signs and miracles, they said: "This is only a fabricated magic. We have not heard of such a thing from our forefathers before."
The Stories/28:37
"Moses said, "My Lord knows well who is the one who comes with a guidance from Him and who will be victorious in the end. The wrongdoers will never succeed."
The Stories/28:38
"Pharaoh said, "O you elders, I do not know a better god for you than I. Haman, prepare bricks for me by kindling a fire in the clay and build a tower so that I may reach the God of Moses. I believe that he is a liar."
The Forgiver/40:23
We sent Moses with Our signs and a clear authority.
The Forgiver/40:24
"We said to Pharaoh, Haman and Karun. They said: "This is a magician and a liar"."
The Forgiver/40:25
"When he brought to them a truth from Us, they said: "Kill the sons of those who believe with him and let the women live". The plan of the disbelievers is always perverse."
The Forgiver/40:26
"Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses so that he may call upon his Lord. I fear that he may change your religion or cause evil in the land."
The Forgiver/40:27
"Moses said, "I have sought refuge with my Lord and your Lord from every fierce man who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning."
The Forgiver/40:28
"A believing man from Pharaoh´s side who concealed his faith said, "Are you going to kill a man who says, ´My Lord is Allah´? He has brought you clear proofs from your Lord. If he is a liar, that is his problem; but if he is truthful, what he has told you will come true. Surely Allah does not love the liars who transgress."
The Forgiver/40:29
"O my people, the government is yours today and you are sovereign in the land. But if the wrath of Allah comes upon us, who can help us against it?"Pharaoh said, "I am advising you my opinion and guiding you in the right way."
The Forgiver/40:30
"The believing man said, "O my people, I am afraid that you will suffer a fate like the day of the previous parties."
The Forgiver/40:31
Like the case of Noah, Ad, Thamud and those after them. Surely Allah does not wish injustice to the servants.
The Forgiver/40:32
My people, I fear for you the Day of Gathering.
The Forgiver/40:33
On that Day you will turn your backs and flee, but there is none to protect you from Allah. There is no guide for those whom Allah leads astray.
The Forgiver/40:34
"Joseph also came to you before with clear proofs, but you were always skeptical of the message he brought you. Finally, when he died, you said, "Allah will not send a messenger after him (he is the last messenger)". Thus does Allah lead astray those who exceed the limit in doubt."
The Forgiver/40:35
Those who argue against the signs and miracles of Allah without any proof are subject to great anger both in the sight of Allah and in the sight of the believers. That is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.
The Forgiver/40:36
"Pharaoh said, "Haman, build for me a tower so that I may access the paths."
The Forgiver/40:37
"To the paths of the heavens. So that I may look at the God of Moses. I believe him to be a liar."Pharaoh´s evil behavior was thus embellished to him and he was led astray. Pharaoh´s plan would surely come to naught."
The Forgiver/40:38
"The believing man said, "O my people, follow me and I will guide you."
The Forgiver/40:39
O my people, the life of this world is a temporary livelihood. The abode of the Hereafter is an everlasting abode.
The Forgiver/40:40
Whoever does evil, he shall be punished only equal to it. But whoever does righteous deeds in faith, male or female, they will enter Paradise and therein they will be blessed without calculation.
The Forgiver/40:41
O my people, why do you call me to the Fire while I call you to salvation?
The Forgiver/40:42
You call me to be ungrateful to Allah and to associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge. I call you to Him Who is the Exalted and the Forgiving.
The Forgiver/40:43
Surely what you call me to has no foundation in this world or the Hereafter. To Allah is our return. Those who transgress will end up in Hell.
The Forgiver/40:44
You will remember what I have told you in the future. I leave my affair to Allah, Allah is the All-Seeing of His servants.
The Ornaments of Gold/43:46
"For example, We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his men and he said, "I am the messenger of the Lord of the Universes."
The Ornaments of Gold/43:47
When he brought Our miracles to them, they laughed at them.
The Ornaments of Gold/43:48
We showed them miracles greater than one and We brought upon them various calamities lest they might turn back.
The Ornaments of Gold/43:49
"O sorcerer, pray to your Lord for us. For you are nearer to Him; we shall come to the way after this"."
The Ornaments of Gold/43:50
But when We removed the calamity from them, they immediately turned back from their words.
The Ornaments of Gold/43:51
"Pharaoh said to his people: "O my people, does not the government of Egypt and the rivers flowing under me belong to me? Do you not see?"
The Ornaments of Gold/43:52
Or am I not superior to this man who is vile and unable to speak?
The Ornaments of Gold/43:53
Why is he not given a treasure of gold, or why do not angels come to work with him?
The Ornaments of Gold/43:54
So he misled his people and they followed him. They were a vulgar people.
