Ta-Ha - 20:81
Eat of the good of what We have given you and do not overdo it, lest you incur My wrath. Those who incur My wrath have fallen.
Excess in the sustenance that is given, and associating partners with Allah, and making some of the good things unlawful for themselves and the people, dedicating them to their gods:
The Cow/2:168
People! Eat of the lawful and pure produce of the earth, and do not follow the steps of Satan; he is an open enemy to you.

He commands you evil and immorality and that you ascribe to Allah what you do not know.

Believers, eat of the good of what We have given you. Give thanks to Allah, if you serve Him alone.

He has forbidden you only carrion, blood, pork and what is slaughtered in the name of none but Allah. Whoever is compelled (to eat them) does not commit a sin, provided he does not seek (a way of abuse) and does not exceed the limit. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

"Eight pairs: Two of the sheep and two of the goat. Say: "Has he forbidden the two males or the two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females?"Answer me on the basis of knowledge, if you are truthful."

"Two of the camel and two of the cattle. Say: "Has He forbidden two males or two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females? And who is more unjust than he who invents lies and attributes them to Allah in order to mislead the people from the way without knowledge? Allah does not guide an unjust people."

"Say: "I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden for anyone who eats, except: carrion, spilled blood, the flesh of swine, which is unclean, and food devoted to none but Allah."And if anyone who is in hardship does not overstep the limit, then surely your Lord is Forgiving, Merciful."
The Cattle/6:146
We forbade the Jews all hoofed animals, and We forbade them the fat of cattle and sheep, except what they carry on their backs or in their intestines, or what is mixed with their bones. Thus did We punish them for their excesses, and We are truthful.

"We shaded you with clouds and sent down for you menna and quail: "Eat of the good provision We have given you."But they did not wrong Us, but only themselves."

Enter this city. Eat therein abundantly from whatever you wish. Enter the gates humbly and speak in friendship so that We may forgive you your faults. We will give more to those who do good.
