The Believers - 23:44
Then We sent Our messengers one after another, and whenever a messenger went to a people, they denied him. So We drove them out one after another and buried them in history. An unbelieving people deserve to perish.
How were the people destroyed who denied the messengers?

And We seized them all with their sins. And We sent upon some of them a mad storm, and a terrible sound seized some of them, and We drove some of them into the earth and drowned some of them. It was not Allah who wronged them; they wronged themselves.
