The Believers - 23:70
Or have they decided that he is mad? Yet he brought them the truth. But most of them do not like the truth.
The general truth contained in the Book is that there is no God but Allah:

For Allah is the Truth, and what they call besides Him is falsehood, and Allah is the Most High and the Greatest.
Prophet Abraham/14:52
This is a warning to the people. That they may listen to this warning and know that He is the only God, and that those who have understanding may take counsel.
The Night Journey/17:2
"In the same way, We gave Moses the Book. to guide the Children of Israel to the truth: "Do not take any other guardian besides Me."
The Pilgrimage/22:62
This will come to pass. Because Allah is the Truth, and those whom they invoke besides Him are false, and Allah is the Exalted, the Great.
