The men of the people of Lot, besides being homosexual among themselves, were an aggressive and perverse people who used to cut the roads and sexually abuse other men.

Take your family for a walk at night, and let none of you look back, except your wife. What will befall the others will befall her. Their appointed time is the morning. Is the morning not near?"
