The Cow - 2:196 Complete Hajj and ´Umrah for Allah. If you are prevented, send a sacrifice that is easy for you. Do not shave your heads until the sacrifice has reached its destination, but whoever is sick or has a head ailment should give a ransom in fasting, charity or any other act of worship. Whoever enjoys ´Umrah until the time of Hajj, in a state of safety, should send a sacrifice that is easy for him. Those who are unable to do so should fast for a total of ten days, three days during Hajj and seven days after returning. This is for those whose family does not live near the Holy Mosque. Listen to Allah and know that the punishment of Allah is severe.
Visiting the Ka'bah/Umrah:
The Cow/2:158 Safa and Marwa (the hills) are among the signs of Allah. He who comes to the House for pilgrimage or visitation (Umrah) may go back and forth between them. And whoever does a good deed out of the heart, Allah is the Recompenser of thanks, the All-Knowing.

The Pilgrimage/22:27 Announce to the people the pilgrimage. Let them come to you from far away on foot or by various means of transportation.
The Pilgrimage/22:28 "So that they may witness some (social, political, economic) benefits for themselves, and that they may remember the name of Allah on known days, for He has given them livestock as sustenance. "Eat of them and feed the poor in distress."
The Pilgrimage/22:29 Then let them complete their obligations, fulfill their pledges, and visit the Ancient House.

The Cow/2:125 "We have made the Ka´bah a focal point for the people and a place of safety. Use the seat of Abraham as a place of prayer. "We commissioned Abraham and Ishmael to keep My House clean for the visitors and those who devote themselves to worship and those who bow down and prostrate themselves."
