What did the Children of Israel endure?
Prophet Jonah/10:83 Only a few of his people believed in Moses because they feared the torture and oppression of Pharaoh and his men. Pharaoh was a tyrant in the earth who exceeded the limits.
Prophet Jonah/10:84 "Moses said: "O my people, if you truly believe in Allah and submit to Him, trust in Him."
Prophet Jonah/10:85 "They said: "Our Lord, do not subject us to the oppression of an oppressive people."
Prophet Jonah/10:86 Save us by Your Mercy from the disbelieving people.
Prophet Jonah/10:87 "To Moses and his brother: "Prepare houses for your people in Egypt. Make your houses temples and observe prayer. Give glad tidings to those who believe."

The Cow/2:61 "But you said, "Moses! We will no longer be able to endure a single kind of food. Call your Lord for us and let Him grow for us beans, squash, garlic, lentils, onions, and whatever the earth produces,"and He said, "Do you want to exchange what is good for what is inferior? Because they were always ungrateful to the signs of Allah and killed the prophets unjustly. Because they were disobedient and transgressors."

The Heights/7:127 "The elite of Pharaoh´s people said, "Do you leave Moses and his people so that they may leave you and your gods and cause corruption in the earth?"(Pharaoh said:) "We will keep their women alive and kill their sons. We are much stronger than them."
The Heights/7:128 "Moses said to his people: "Seek help from Allah and persevere patiently. The earth belongs to Allah and He gives it to whom He wills of His servants. The result is for those who do righteous deeds."
