The Coalition - 33:24
Thus Allah rewards the truthful with their truthfulness. And He punishes the hypocrites if He wills, or accepts their repentance. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
In the context of verses 22, 23, 24; the true believers who kept their promise to Allah in the most difficult moments of war:
The Repentance/9:51
"Say: "Nothing touches us except what Allah has written for us. He is our vicegerent, our Owner. Let those who believe put their trust in Allah."
The Repentance/9:50
"If good touches you, it grieves them, and if evil touches you, they say, "We had taken precautions beforehand,"and they turn away rejoicing."
The Repentance/9:117
Allah has accepted the repentance of the Messenger and those who emigrated and those who helped. They followed him at a time of difficulty when some of them almost lost heart. Then He accepted their turning (repentance). He is Most Compassionate towards them, Most Merciful.
The Family Of Imran/3:172
Those believers who followed the call of Allah and His messenger even after they were wounded in battle. For those who do good and do righteous deeds there is a great reward.
The Family Of Imran/3:173
"Those who, when people say to them, "The people have gathered against you; fear them", it only increases their faith and they say: "Allah is sufficient for us; what a good Protector He is."
The Family Of Imran/3:174
So they returned with a blessing and favor from Allah without any evil touching them. . They had sought Allah´s pleasure. Allah is the Owner of the great favor.
The Coalition/33:22
"When the believers see the parties (ready to attack), they say, "This is what Allah and His messenger promised us. Allah and His messenger have spoken the truth."This (dangerous situation) only strengthened their faith and submission."
The Coalition/33:23
There are such of the believers who have fulfilled their promise to Allah. Some of them fulfilled their pledge (became martyrs) and some of them are waiting. They have never wavered.

The Victory/48:18
Allah is pleased with the believers who pledged allegiance to you under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts and sent down peace on them and rewarded them with an imminent victory.
