The Arabic Letter Sad - 38:3 We destroyed many generations before them, and they cried out, but it was not the time of salvation.
Why does our Lord relate to us the news/history of the previous societies?
The Heights/7:100 Has it not become evident to those who inherited the earth in place of the previous generations that if We willed, We could punish them with their sins and seal their hearts so that they could not hear?
The Sun/91:11 Thamud (people) denied because of their rebellion.
The Sun/91:14 They denied him and slaughtered the camel. Then their Lord destroyed them for their crime.
The Sun/91:15 But still no lesson is learned from their end
Ta-Ha/20:128 Do not those who traveled in the settlements of the previous generations take a lesson from Our destruction of them? In this are signs and proofs for those who have understanding.
The Prostration/32:26 Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them? And now they are wandering in their dwellings. In this are lessons and signs. Do they not hear?
Prophet Joseph/12:111 In their history is a lesson for those who are conscious. This is not a fabricated hadith, but a confirmation of what has gone before it, a detailed explanation of everything, and a guidance and Mercy for those who believe.
Prophet Hud/11:120 We have related to you enough of the history of the messengers to strengthen your heart. In this has come truth for you, and an enlightenment and a warning for those who believe.
Ta-Ha/20:113 So We have sent it down as a Qur´an in Arabic, and We have explained in it the news of the future in various forms so that they may act righteously or it may be a reminder for them.
Prophet Joseph/12:3 By revealing this Qur´an to you, We relate to you history in the most beautiful narration. You were previously unaware of this.
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:108 And We preserved his history for the later ones.
