The Arabic Letter Sad - 38:33 "He said, "Bring them back to me,"and stroked their legs and necks (in farewell)."
In the context of verses 31, 32...34; the blessings of this world's life should not make us forget to strive for the Hereafter:
The Repentance/9:69 You are like those before you; they were stronger than you and had more wealth and children than you. They enjoyed their share, and you enjoyed your share as those before you enjoyed their share. Like those who were carried away, so have you been carried away. They are those whose deeds have failed in this world and the Hereafter. They are the losers.

The Iron/57:16 Is it not time for the believers to open their hearts to the Message of Allah and the truth that has come down? Let them not be like those to whom the Book was given before; their hearts were hardened when a long time had passed over them. The majority of them are those who have gone astray.

Prophet Jonah/10:24 The life of this world is like this example: the water We send down from the sky mixes with the plants that people and animals eat. We make it uproot itself as if it had not possessed anything the day before. Thus do We explain the verses for a people who reflect.
