What Allah asks of us in return for what He has given us:
The Cow/2:254 Believers, distribute out of what We have given you before the Day comes when there will be neither exchange nor friendship nor intercession. Those who disbelieve are the wrongdoers.

The Family Of Imran/3:180 Let not those who are stingy in what Allah has bestowed on them from His bounty think that it is good for them. On the contrary, it is harmful for them. What they have accumulated will be around their necks on the Day of Resurrection. To Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth. Allah is aware of what you do.

The Repentance/9:34 O you who believe, most of the scribes and religious leaders eat the people´s money without right and lead them astray from the way of Allah. Give glad tidings of a painful torment to those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah.
The Repentance/9:35 "The day will come when the gold and the money that they hoarded will be heated in the Fire of Hell and their foreheads, their sides and their backs will be scorched with it: "This is what you have saved for yourselves. Taste what you have accumulated."
The Repentance/9:75 "Some of them even promised Allah, "If He grants us out of His bounty, we will spend our money for charity and we will be of the righteous people."
The Repentance/9:76 But when He gave them out of His bounty, they became stingy and turned away.

The Stories/28:76 "Karun was of the people of Moses, but he betrayed them and oppressed them. We had given him such treasures that their keys were too heavy even for a strong people. His people said to him: "Do not be spoiled, Allah does not love the spoiled."
The Stories/28:77 Seek the abode of the Hereafter with the favors Allah has bestowed upon you, without forgetting your share in this world. Do good to Allah as He has done good to you. Do not seek to make corruption in the earth. Allah does not love the corrupters.

Muhammad/47:38 You are called to spend in the Way of Allah, but some of you are stingy. Whoever is stingy is stingy towards himself. Allah is rich and you are poor. If you turn away, He will replace you with another people, but they will not be like you.

The Cow/2:172 Believers, eat of the good of what We have given you. Give thanks to Allah, if you serve Him alone.

The Ornaments of Gold/43:12 He created all pairs and created for you ships and livestock that you may ride on them.
The Ornaments of Gold/43:13 "That you may ride on them, and when you are on them, you may think of the favor of your Lord upon you and say: "Glory be to Him Who has given this to our command. We could not have controlled them on our own."

The Heights/7:10 We have placed you on the earth and provided you with means of living therein; how little you give thanks.
The Heights/7:189 "He created you from a single soul (with the same genetic characteristics). And from him He created his mate so that he might find rest. When he approached his mate, he loaded her with a light burden and traveled with her. When his burden became heavy, they both begged their Lord, Allah: "If you give us a perfect child, we shall be among the thankful."

The Spoils of War/8:26 Remember when you were few in number, oppressed and despised in the earth, and you feared that people would snatch you away. He provided you with a home and supported you with His help and gave you sustenance from good things so that you might give thanks.

Prophet Abraham/14:37 Our Lord, I have placed some of My children in a barren valley near Your Holy House. Our Lord, that they may observe prayer. Fill the hearts of the people with sympathy for them and provide them with crops so that they may give thanks.

The Bee/16:14 He has made the sea at your command; from it you eat fresh meat, and from it you extract ornaments for clothing and jewelry. And you see the ships sailing across the sea. So you seek His favor and perhaps you will thank Him.
The Bee/16:78 When Allah brought you out of the wombs of your mothers, you knew nothing. He gave you the senses of hearing and sight and brains so that you may give thanks.

Luqman/31:10 He created the heavens without a pillar that you see. And He placed stabilizers on the earth that you may not be shaken, and He spread therein every kind of creature. And We rained down water from the sky, and We caused to grow therein every beautiful variety.
Luqman/31:11 This is the creation of Allah. Show me what other than Him has created. The wrongdoers are indeed in manifest error.
Luqman/31:12 "We gave wisdom to Lokman: "You should give thanks to Allah."Whoever is grateful is grateful for himself, and whoever is ungrateful, surely Allah is not needy, the Most Praised."

The Prostration/32:9 Then He molded him and breathed into him of His spirit. He has given you hearing and sight and brains, but you are seldom thankful.

Sheva/34:15 The houses of the people of Sheba were a wonder, with two gardens to the right and left. Eat of the provision of your Lord and give thanks to Him. A beautiful land and a Forgiving Lord.

Originator/35:12 The two seas are not equal to each other. This one is fresh and sweet and soft to drink, and that one is salty and bitter. From each of them you eat fresh meat and extract jewels to wear. You will see ships splitting it, seeking His favor. Perhaps now you will give thanks.

Yaseen/36:34 And We planted therein vineyards and gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We caused springs to gush forth.
Yaseen/36:35 That they may eat of its produce and of what their hands have grown. Will they not be grateful?

The Companies/39:6 He created you from a single person, then He created from him his mate. He sent down to you eight kinds of livestock. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, passing you from creation to creation in three darknesses. This is Allah, your Lord. To Him belongs sovereignty. There is no god but Him. How are you turned away?
The Companies/39:7 If you disbelieve, Allah has no need of you. But He does not like His servants to be disbelievers. He is pleased with you if you are grateful. No one bears the burden of sin. Then your return is to your Lord and He will inform you of what you have done. He knows the essence of the breasts

The Forgiver/40:61 It is Allah Who created the night for you to rest and made the day bright. Allah is gracious to the people, but most of the people do not give thanks.

The Sandhills/46:15 "We admonished man to do good to his parents, and his mother carries him laboriously and gives birth to him laboriously. It takes thirty months from the time he is carried in his mother´s womb to his weaning. Finally, when he reaches the age of maturity and is forty years old, he says: "My Lord, direct me to be grateful for the favor You have bestowed on me and my parents and to do good deeds with which You are pleased. Correct my progeny. I am of those who repent and submit to You."

The Event/56:68 Have you noticed the water that you are drinking?

The Kingdom/67:23 "Say, "It is He Who created you and gave you hearing and sight and brains. How seldom do you give thanks!"

The Man/76:2 We created man from a liquid mixture so that We might test him. So We made him hear and see.
The Man/76:3 We have shown him the way; he is either grateful or ungrateful.

Prophet Jonah/10:24 The life of this world is like this example: the water We send down from the sky mixes with the plants that people and animals eat. This lasts until the earth is adorned and its inhabitants think that they have dominion over nature. Then Our command comes to it by night or by day. We make it uproot itself as if it had not possessed anything the day before. Thus do We explain the verses for a people who reflect.
