The Companies - 39:38
"If you ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?"they will say, "Allah". Say, "What about those whom you serve besides Allah? If Allah wills harm for me, can they remove His harm? Or if He wills mercy for me, can they keep His mercy? Say, "Allah is sufficient for me."Let those who trust put their trust in Him"
It is ingratitude to Allah to take some gods besides Him and serve them, when Allah is the One Who has given everything we know at our command:
The Cow/2:22
He has made the earth habitable for you and made the heaven a structure. He has sent down water from the sky and brought forth from it various crops for you as sustenance. Do not knowingly associate partners with Allah.
The Cattle/6:14
"Say: "Shall I take other masters besides Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth out of nothing, Who feeds but does not feed?""Say: "I have been commanded to submit before anyone else. Do not associate partners!"

Have you noticed how your Lord lengthens the shadow? Had He willed, He could have made it motionless. Indeed, We made the sun a proof for it (We made the existence of the shadow dependent on the light).

"Indeed, to Allah alone belongs religion. Those who take those other than Him as awliya (friends) say: "We serve them so that they may bring us closer to Allah". Allah will decide between them in that in which they differ. Surely Allah guides not the liars and the ungrateful."

You call me to be ungrateful to Allah and to associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge. I call you to Him Who is the Exalted and the Forgiving.
