The Companies - 39:67
They did not appreciate Allah properly. Yet on the Day of Resurrection the earth is in His palm and the heavens are rolled up in His right hand. He is Exalted and far superior to those whom they associate partners.
In the context of verses 64, 65...67, the people of the book, who had taken Jesus and the prophet Uzeyr as gods, wanted to influence the prophet Muhammad to make additions or changes to the revelation in line with their desires:
