The Companies - 39:8 "When an evil touches man, he turns to his Lord and calls upon Him. And when He gives him a favor from Himself, he forgets whom he used to call upon and begins to associate partners with Allah to divert him from His Way. Say, "Live a little in your disbelief, you are of the people of the Fire."
How did they associate partners with Allah?
The Spider/29:17 You fabricate lies and serve idols besides Allah. Those whom you serve besides Allah cannot give you any sustenance. So seek your sustenance with Allah alone, and serve Him and give thanks to Him, to Him is your return.
Council/42:21 Or do they have associates who lay down for them religious rules and laws without Allah´s permission? Judgment would have been given between them if there had not been a pre-determined decision. There is a painful torment for the wrongdoers.
The Cattle/6:1 Praise is due to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Maker of darkness and light. Yet the unbelievers equate their Lord with others.
The Cow/2:165 There are those who take others besides Allah as gods and love them as they love Allah. But the believers love Allah most of all. If only those wrong-doers knew that when they see the torment, they will realize that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah´s torment is severe!
The Family Of Imran/3:80 Nor does he command you to take the angels and the prophets as gods. Does He ever command you to disbelieve after you have become Muslims?
The Cattle/6:40 "Say: "Tell us, if you are truthful, if the torment of Allah or the Hour (the end of the world) came to you, would you call upon anyone other than Allah?"
The Cattle/6:41 Indeed, to Him alone do you invoke. If He wills, He will remove your problem in that which you invoke, and you will forget those whom you associate.
The Cattle/6:136 "They set aside for Him a share of what Allah has produced, of crops and livestock, and said: "This is Allah´s and this is our partners´". The share of their partners does not reach Allah, but the share of Allah reaches their partners! How evil are their judgment."
The Cattle/6:137 So their associates (who judge in the name of God) made even killing their children seem a good thing to most of the polytheists. Thus they ruined them and confused and corrupted their religion. Had Allah willed, they could not have done this. Stay away from them and what they fabricate.
Prophet Jonah/10:66 To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Those who invoke others besides Allah are not following the partners they have set up. They are only guessing and only talking nonsense.
The Jinn/72:19 When the servant of Allah arose and called to Him alone, they were almost united against him.
The Family Of Imran/3:64 "Say, "People of the Book! Come to a principle which is the same between us and you: "Let us serve none but Allah and associate with Him nothing in common, and let not one of us take the other as gods after Allah."If they refuse, say, "Bear witness, we are Muslims!"
