The Family Of Imran - 3:103 Hold fast to the rope of Allah, and do not differ. Remember the favor of Allah upon you. When you were enemies, He united your hearts and by His favor you became brothers. You were on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it. This is how Allah explains His verses so that you may be guided.
Allah saved the idolaters of Makkah from the pit of fire (from being thrown into Hell) by guiding them with His Blessing (the Qur'an):
