The Family Of Imran - 3:134 Those righteous who spend money to help in plenty and in want, control their anger, and overlook people´s faults. Allah loves those who do good.
The righteous help in hardship:
The Banishment/59:9 Those who had a home and a faith before them love those who emigrated to them and do not feel bitterness in their hearts because of what they have given. Even if they themselves are in need, they put them before themselves. Indeed, those who are protected from the selfishness of their souls are the saved.

The City/90:14 To feed in times of famine:

Prophet Joseph/12:88 "When they entered his (Joseph´s) presence, they said, "Your Excellency, hardship has touched us and our family, so we have come with a worthless thing, but give us the exact measure and help us. Allah rewards those who give alms."
