The Family Of Imran - 3:17 They are the patient, the truthful, the sincere, the submissive, the helpers of mankind, and those who ask for forgiveness in the Hour.
Examples of the believers' patience and endurance in the Way of Allah:
The Family Of Imran/3:186 You will be tested with your money and your lives. You will hear many insults from those who were given the Book before you and from those who associate partners. If you persevere and lead a virtuous life, you will have done a great deed.
The Family Of Imran/3:195 "Their Lord answered them: "I will not leave unrewarded any of you who works, whether male or female; you are all equal. Those who emigrated, those who were expelled from their homes, those who were tortured and insulted in My way, those who fought and were killed... I will cover their evil deeds and place them in gardens with rivers flowing in them as a reward from Allah. The best reward is with Allah."
The Cow/2:155 We will test you with fear, hunger, loss of money, lives, and crops. Give good news to those who are patient.
The Cow/2:156 "That when a calamity comes upon them, they say: "To Allah we belong and to Him we return"."
The Cow/2:177 It is not good that you turn your faces towards the east or the west. The righteous are those who believe in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book and the Prophets, and they give freely to relatives, orphans, the needy, the stranded, the beggars, and to free the slaves, and they observe the prayer, and pay the zakat, and keep their word when they contract, and they resist hardship, distress and oppression. It is they who are the righteous, and it is they who are the virtuous.
The Cow/2:214 "Or do you think that you will enter Paradise until the like of what happened to those before you befalls you? They suffered hardship and distress and were so shaken that the apostle and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?"Know well that Allah´s help is near."
The Cow/2:249 "When Talut took command of the army, he reported: "Allah will test you with a river. Whoever drinks from it is not from me. Whoever does not taste it but only takes a sip with his hand is from me."They all drank from it except a few. When he crossed the river with those who believed with him, they said, "Today we have no strength to resist Goliath and his army."And those who believed that they would meet Allah said: "How many a small company has defeated a large company by Allah´s permission. Allah is with the patient."
The Cow/2:250 "When they met Goliath and his army, they said: "Our Lord, give us strength to resist, keep our feet firm, and help us against the disbelievers."
The Cow/2:251 Finally they defeated them by Allah´s permission. David killed Goliath. Allah gave him sovereignty and understanding and taught him whatever He willed. The earth would have been corrupted if Allah had not repelled some of the people with some of the people. But Allah is gracious to all creatures.
The Cow/2:273 Give to the needy who have been deprived of the opportunity to migrate because of their work in the way of Allah. Those who do not know them think that they are rich because of their dignity. You recognize them by their faces. They do not beg for help from the people. Allah knows every good deed you do.
The Family Of Imran/3:142 Do you think that you will enter Paradise until Allah reveals the workers among you and separates those who are patient?
The Family Of Imran/3:146 How many prophets fought with them, many who were devoted to their Lord. They did not slacken in the way of Allah because of what befell them, nor did they give in. Allah loves those who persevere.
The Cattle/6:34 They accused the messengers before you of falsehood. They resisted the denials. They suffered hardship until Our victory came. Allah´s system will not change. Indeed, the history of the messengers has reached you.
The Heights/7:120 And the magicians fell prostrate.
The Heights/7:121 "They said: "We believe in the Lord of the Universes","
The Heights/7:122 To the Lord of Moses and Aaron...
The Heights/7:123 "Pharaoh: "Did you believe in him before I gave you permission? This is a plan, and you have set up this plan in the city so that you may drive out your people from it. But soon you will know."
The Heights/7:124 I will cut off your hands and your feet crosswise and then I will hang you all!
The Heights/7:125 "They said: "We shall return to our Lord."
The Heights/7:126 You take vengeance on us because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, give us strength to endure and take our lives as Muslims.
The Heights/7:127 "The elite of Pharaoh´s people said, "Do you leave Moses and his people so that they may leave you and your gods and cause corruption in the earth?"(Pharaoh said:) "We will keep their women alive and kill their sons. We are much stronger than them."
The Heights/7:128 "Moses said to his people: "Seek help from Allah and persevere patiently. The earth belongs to Allah and He gives it to whom He wills of His servants. The result is for those who do righteous deeds."
The Spoils of War/8:72 Those who believe and migrate in the Way of Allah and strive hard with their wealth and their lives and those who shelter them and help them are friends of one another. Those who believe but do not emigrate with you, you are not responsible for them until they emigrate. But if they ask you for help on account of their religion, you should help them, provided it is not against a people with whom you have an agreement. Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
Prophet Abraham/14:11 "And their messengers said to them: "Surely we are human beings like you. But Allah chooses whom He wills from among His servants and bestows favor upon him. It is impossible for us to bring you a certificate of authority without Allah´s permission. Believers should trust in Allah."
Prophet Abraham/14:12 Why should we not trust in Allah, when He has shown us the way? We will patiently endure the persecution you are inflicting on us. Those who trust must trust in Allah.
Prophet Abraham/14:13 "The disbelievers said to their messengers, "Either you return to our religion or we will expel you from our land!"Their Lord revealed to them, "We will destroy the wrongdoers."
The Bee/16:41 Those who emigrated for the cause of Allah after being oppressed, We will establish them well in this world. Greater is their reward in the Hereafter, if they only knew.
The Bee/16:42 They are the patient and trusting in their Lord.
The Bee/16:110 Then your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful to those who emigrated after being oppressed, and strived and resisted; surely your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful to them.
The Believers/23:109 "A group of My servants used to say: "Our Lord, we believed, forgive us, have mercy on us, you are the most merciful of the merciful"."
The Believers/23:110 But you mocked them and forgot to remember Me because of them. You were laughing at them.
The Believers/23:111 "Today I have rewarded them for their patience; these are the winners"."
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:95 "He said, "Do you serve what you have hewn?"."
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:96 "Allah is the Creator of you and what you make"."
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:97 "They said, "Build for him a structure and throw him into the Fire"."
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:98 They thought of a plan for him, but We overcame them.
Muhammad/47:31 We will test you and try your qualities until We bring out from among you those who strive and those who persevere against hardship.
The Big Stars/85:4 Woe to the people of the Canyon.
The Big Stars/85:5 Woe to the people of the canyon
The Big Stars/85:6 They sat at his head,
The Big Stars/85:7 And they watch their torture of the believers.
The Big Stars/85:8 They hated the believers. Only because they believed in Allah, the Exalted and Praiseworthy.
