The Kneeling - 45:5
There are lessons for a people who understand in the alternation of the night and the day, and how Allah sends down from the sky a sustenance and revives the earth with it after its death and directs the winds.
What is the lesson in sending down water and reviving the earth after its death?
Originator/35:9
Allah is He Who sends the winds that stir the clouds. Then We drive them over a dead land, and We bring it back to life after its death. So is the resurrection.
The Heights/7:57
It is He who sends the winds as a foretaste of His mercy. We drive the heavy clouds over a dead land after they are gathered and loaded. We send down with it water and bring forth with it all kinds of crops. Thus do We bring forth the dead. Perhaps from this you may take an admonition.
Explained in Detail/41:39
And of His signs is that when We send down water on the earth which you see barren, it vibrates and swells. He who revives it will also revive the dead. He is all-powerful.
The Letter Qaf/50:9
And We sent down from the sky a blessed water and caused gardens and grain to grow therein.
The Letter Qaf/50:10
And We raised tall date palms with clusters of buds.
The Letter Qaf/50:11
As food for the servants. With it We revived the land, and such is the Exodus (resurrection).
The Pilgrimage/22:5
O mankind, if you doubt about the resurrection, (remember) We created you from dust, then from a drop, then from a suspended matter (embryo), then from an offspring whose form is definite and uncertain. Thus do We inform you. And whatever We will, We keep it in the wombs for a certain term. Then We bring you forth as a baby, and then you grow to maturity. Some of you will be terminated, and some of you will be brought to the worst age. So that he may not know anything after he has knowledge. You see the earth dry and dead, but when We rain water on it, it vibrates and swells and produces beautiful plants.
The Pilgrimage/22:6
For Allah is the only Truth; He raises the dead; He is all-powerful;
