The Sandhills - 46:22 "Have you come to us to lead us astray from our gods? Bring us what you have promised us if you are truthful"."
Name People?
The Heights/7:65 "And We sent to the people of Ad their brother Hud, saying: "My people, worship Allah. You have no god but Him. Will you not be righteous?"
The Heights/7:66 "The disbelievers from among his people said, "We see you in folly. We think you a liar."
The Heights/7:67 "He said: "O my people, I am not a fool, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the universes."
The Heights/7:68 I convey to you the message of my Lord, I am a trustworthy counselor for you.
The Heights/7:69 Are you surprised that a message from your Lord has come to a man from among you to warn you? Remember that He made you heirs after the people of Noah and made you stronger than them in creation. Think of the Blessings of Allah that you may succeed.
The Heights/7:70 "They said: "Have you come to us that we may serve Allah alone and abandon what our forefathers served? Bring us what you threatened us with if you are truthful."
The Heights/7:71 "He said: "You are condemned to a torment and anger from your Lord. Are you disputing with me about names which you and your fathers invented and to which Allah has not given them any power? Wait, and I am of those who wait with you."
The Heights/7:72 We saved him and those with him as a Mercy from Us, and We cut off those who denied Our Verses and disbelieved.

Prophet Hud/11:50 "And to the people of Ad, their brother Hud. He said: "O my people, serve Allah. You have no gods besides Him. You are but fabricators."
Prophet Hud/11:51 "He said: "O my people, I do not ask any wage from you in return for this. My wage is for none but the One who created me first. Do you not use your intellect?"
Prophet Hud/11:52 O My people, ask forgiveness from your Lord, then turn to Him so that He may shower down upon you abundant mercy from the sky and add strength to your strength. Do not turn away as criminals!
Prophet Hud/11:53 "They said: "O Hud, you have not come to us with a clear proof. We will not abandon our religion on your word alone, nor will we believe in you."
Prophet Hud/11:54 "He said: "We say that you have been struck by one of our gods": "I bear Allah as a witness, and you bear witness that I am far from that which you associate as partners."
Prophet Hud/11:55 From none other than Him. Come on, all of you, unite and prepare a plan against me. And do not wait.
Prophet Hud/11:56 I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and there is no creature that He does not control. My Lord is on the straight path.
Prophet Hud/11:57 If you turn away, then I have made known to you the Message with which I have been sent, and My Lord will replace you with another people, and you can do Him no harm. My Lord is the All-Seeing and All-Controlling.
Prophet Hud/11:58 When Our Command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him with a Mercy from Us, and We saved them from a terrible torment.
Prophet Hud/11:59 Such were the people of Ad. They rejected the Verses of their Lord, rebelled against His messengers and followed the command of every stubborn tyrant.
Prophet Hud/11:60 So they suffered a curse in the life of this world and on the Day of Resurrection. In short, the people of Ad disobeyed their Lord. Hud´s people, Ad, were destroyed.

The Poets/26:123 The people of Ad also denied the messengers.
The Poets/26:124 "Their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not act righteously?"
The Poets/26:127 And I do not ask of you any wage in return for this. My wage belongs only to the Lord of the Universes.
The Poets/26:128 Do you place a sign (a structure) on every hill and linger?
The Poets/26:129 Do you build strong structures so that you may abide forever?
The Poets/26:130 When you seize, you seize cruelly.
The Poets/26:131 You should listen to Allah and follow me.
The Poets/26:132 Listen to the One who gave you all that you know.
The Poets/26:135 I fear for you the punishment of a great day.
The Poets/26:136 "They said, "It is the same for us whether you give advice or not."
The Poets/26:137 This is the way of life followed by those before us.
The Poets/26:139 So they denied him. Finally We destroyed them. There is a lesson in this, but the majority do not believe.

Explained in Detail/41:15 "As for Ad, they were arrogant in the earth unjustly and said: "Who is stronger than us?"Do they not realize that Allah, Who created them, is stronger than them? They were willfully disbelieving in Our signs and miracles."
Explained in Detail/41:16 Finally, We sent upon them a strong wind on an inauspicious day to make them taste the humiliating torment in the life of this world, while the torment of the Hereafter is more humiliating and they will not be helped.

The Sandhills/46:21 "Remember when Ad´s brother warned his people in the sand dunes. Before and after that he said: "Do not serve none but Allah. I fear for you the torment of a great day"."
The Sandhills/46:22 "Have you come to us to lead us astray from our gods? Bring us what you have promised us if you are truthful"."
The Sandhills/46:23 Only Allah has the knowledge of it. I announce to you what has been sent with me, but I see that you are an ignorant people.
The Sandhills/46:24 "When they finally saw it spreading and heading towards their valley, they said: "This is a cloud that will give us rain. Nay, this is a storm with a painful torment which you have challenged to come."
The Sandhills/46:25 It destroys everything by the command of your Lord. When morning came, nothing could be seen except their houses. Thus do We punish the guilty people.

The Scatterers/51:41 (There is a lesson) also in the people of Ad. We sent upon them a terrible wind.
The Scatterers/51:42 It turned everything it came across to dust.

The Moon/54:18 Ad also denied. How is My punishment and My warnings!
The Moon/54:19 We sent upon them a violent wind on a day of inauspiciousness upon inauspiciousness.
The Moon/54:20 It destroyed the people as if they were date-palms uprooted from their roots.

The Sure Truth/69:4 Thamud and Ad denied the shocking event.
The Sure Truth/69:5 And Thamud was destroyed by that raging.
The Sure Truth/69:6 And Ad was destroyed by a fierce and raging whirlwind.
The Sure Truth/69:7 He sent it upon them as a scourge for seven nights and eight days. You saw the people fall down like rotten date-palms.
