The Women - 4:147
Why should Allah punish you if you give thanks and believe? Allah is the Recompenser, the Mighty.
Reasons to give thanks?
The Heights/7:10
We have placed you on the earth and provided you with means of living therein; how little you give thanks.
The Spoils of War/8:26
Remember when you were few in number, oppressed and despised in the earth, and you feared that people would snatch you away. He provided you with a home and supported you with His help and gave you sustenance from good things so that you might give thanks.
The Bee/16:14
He has made the sea at your command; from it you eat fresh meat, and from it you extract ornaments for clothing and jewelry. And you see the ships sailing across the sea. So you seek His favor and perhaps you will thank Him.
The Bee/16:78
When Allah brought you out of the wombs of your mothers, you knew nothing. He gave you the senses of hearing and sight and brains so that you may give thanks.

Eat of the lawful and good sustenance that Allah has given you and be grateful for the blessings of Allah, if only to Him you serve.

And We taught him to make armor so that he might protect you in your battles, so will you be grateful?

There are benefits for you in the sacrifice of animals as a sign of worshipping Allah. You should mention the name of Allah over them while they are lined up. And when they fall on their sides, eat of them, and feed the beggar and the poor, We have made them available for you so that you may give thanks.

It is He Who has created for you hearing and sight and brains. How little you give thanks!

It is of His Mercy that He arranged the night and the day, that you may rest in the one and seek His Blessings in the other. Perhaps you will be grateful.
