If he had ascribed his personal desires to Allah:
The Sure Truth/69:44 If He attributes to us some words,
The Sure Truth/69:45 We seize him by force,
The Sure Truth/69:46 Then We would cut off the revelation from him.
The Sure Truth/69:47 And no one of you could prevent it.
The Night Journey/17:73 They would almost have led you astray from what We have revealed to you so that you might invent something else and attribute it to Us. Then they would have taken you as a friend.
The Night Journey/17:74 If We had not made you firm, you would almost have inclined to them a little
The Night Journey/17:75 Then We would have made you taste the torment of life and death multiplied, then you would not have found any helper against Us.
