The Table Spread - 5:12
"Allah had taken a promise from the Children of Israel and We sent twelve leaders from among them. Allah said: "I am with you if you observe the prayer, pay the zakat, believe in My messengers and respect them, and lend to Allah a good debt. I will cover your sins and give you gardens in which rivers flow. So whoever of you disbelieves after that has gone astray from the right path."
The disbelievers of the Children of Israel disbelieved in miracles/evidences, the sent Books and the messengers unless they were given to one of them:
The Cow/2:90
Woe to those who sell their personalities to disbelieve in what Allah has sent down, not despising that Allah sends down His bounty to whom He wills of His servants! So they incurred wrath upon wrath. For the disbelievers is a humiliating torment.
The Cow/2:91
"When it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah has sent down,"they say, "We believe in what has been sent down to us,"and deny what follows. But this is the truth confirming what is with them. Say, "Why did you kill the messengers of Allah before, if you believed?"
The Cow/2:92
Moses came to you with miracles, but after him you took the calf as a god and became wrongdoers.
The Family Of Imran/3:49
"As a messenger sent to the Children of Israel (he will say): ´I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. I will make you a statue of a bird out of clay and blow into it, and by Allah´s permission it will become a bird. By Allah´s permission I will cure the blind and the leper and raise the dead. I can let you know what you eat and what you store in your houses. These proofs are sufficient for you if you believe."
The Family Of Imran/3:50
"´I have been sent to confirm the Torah that was before me and to make lawful for you some things that were forbidden to you. I bring you a proof from your Lord, so listen to Allah and follow me.
The Family Of Imran/3:51
"Allah is my Lord and your Lord; serve Him. This is the right way."
The Family Of Imran/3:52
"When Jesus sensed a disbelieving attitude from them, he said, "Who will help me in the way of Allah?"His disciples said, "We are God´s helpers; we have believed in God. Witness that we have become Muslims."
The Table Spread/5:110
"Allah will say: O Jesus son of Mary, remember My favor which I bestowed on you and your mother. I supported you with the Holy Spirit so that you could speak to the people when you were in the cradle and when you were grown up. I taught you the Book, wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel, and by My permission you made a bird out of clay, and when I breathed into it, it became a bird by My permission. By my permission you healed the blind and the leper. You raised the dead by my permission. And although you brought clear proofs to the Children of Israel, the disbelievers among them said, "This is nothing but a clear sorcery,"and I saved you from them."
The Ranks/61:14
"O you who believe, be supporters of Allah. Just as Jesus, son of Mary, asked his disciples, "Who will be my supporters in the way of Allah?"His disciples said, "We are the supporters of Allah."A group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. We supported the believers against their enemies; they prevailed."
The Cow/2:93
"Remember when We raised Mount Tur over you and took a promise from you: "Hold fast to what I command you and listen."But they said: "We listened and disobeyed". Because of their disbelief, their hearts were deceived by the calf. Say: "If you have believed, how badly your faith is guiding you!"
The Heights/7:152
Those who idolize the calf will incur a wrath from their Lord and a humiliation in the life of this world. This is how We punish the slanderers.
The Cow/2:61
"But you said, "Moses! We will no longer be able to endure a single kind of food. Call your Lord for us and let Him grow for us beans, squash, garlic, lentils, onions, and whatever the earth produces,"and He said, "Do you want to exchange what is good for what is inferior? Go back to Egypt, and there you will find what you seek."So they were condemned to lowliness and poverty and incurred the wrath of Allah. Because they were always ungrateful to the signs of Allah and killed the prophets unjustly. Because they were disobedient and transgressors."
The Cow/2:83
We took a promise from the Children of Israel: You shall serve none but Allah, and you shall do good to parents and relatives and orphans and the poor. You shall speak to people in friendship. You will observe the prayer and pay the zakat. But after that you turned away, except a few of you.
The Cow/2:84
We had also taken a promise from you that you would not shed each other´s blood and would not drive each other out of their homes. You had accepted this and were witnesses to it.
The Cow/2:85
After all this, you still kill one another and drive out a group of you from their homes and unite against them in evil and enmity. It is already forbidden for you to drive them out of their homes, and as if that were not enough, when they are captured by you, you demand ransom from them. Or do you believe in part of the Book and disbelieve in part of it? What is the recompense for those who do so but disgrace in the life of this world and the harshest of torments on the Day of Resurrection? Allah is not heedless of what you do.
The Women/4:154
"We raised Mount Sinai above them, and We said to them, "Enter humbly through the gate."We said to them, "Do not transgress the prohibition of Saturday"; and We took from them a firm promise."
The Women/4:155
"Allah sealed their understanding because of their breaking their word, because they disbelieved in the signs and proofs of Allah, because they killed the prophets unjustly, and because they said: "We are fixed-minded", yes, because of their disbelief. Therefore few of them believe."
The Women/4:156
Because of their disbelief and forging a great lie about Mary.
The Women/4:157
"And because they said: "We killed Jesus Christ, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah"... But they did not kill him nor hang him, but they thought that they had done so. All sects are in doubt about this. They do not have any knowledge about it; they are only following conjecture. They did not kill him with certainty."
The Heights/7:161
"Remember when We said to them: "Dwell in this city, eat from it as you wish, speak in friendship and enter the gate humbly, so that We may forgive you your faults. We will give more to those who do good."
The Heights/7:162
But those of them who were unjust changed the word into something other than what they were told. So We sent upon them a torment from the sky because of their wrongdoing.
The Heights/7:165
When they ignored and forgot what they were reminded of, We saved those who fought against evil, and We seized those who did wrong with a terrible torment for their transgression.
The Heights/7:166
"And when they disobeyed what was forbidden to them, We said to them: "Be despicable apes!"
The Cow/2:65
"Surely you know those of you who transgressed the prohibition of Saturday. We said to them: "Be despicable monkeys"."
The Table Spread/5:60
"Say: "Shall I inform you of something worse than this in the sight of Allah? Whom Allah has cursed and wrathfully turned into apes, pigs and idolaters, those are the worst in the land and the most astray from the right path."
The Heights/7:167
And your Lord has declared that He will send to them, until the Day of Resurrection, those who will inflict on them the worst of punishments. And your Lord is the swift Reckoner and surely He is Forgiving, Merciful.
The Heights/7:168
We divided them into communities on the earth, some of them were good and some of them were lowly. We tested them with good and evil lest they should turn back.
The Heights/7:169
"They were replaced by other generations who inherited the Book. But they said, "We shall be forgiven anyway,"and chose vile and transitory benefits. If similar temporary benefits came to them, they would still choose them. Was not a promise taken from them that they would adhere to the Book and speak only the truth about Allah? Have they not read and learned it? Better for the righteous is the abode of the Hereafter. Do you not understand?"
The Family Of Imran/3:21
Give glad tidings of a painful torment to those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who defend justice among the people.
The Family Of Imran/3:112
They are despised wherever they are, except those who take refuge in the rope of Allah or in the rope (covenant) of men. They deserved the wrath of Allah and were condemned to poverty. For they disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets unjustly. All this was the result of their disobedience and transgression.
The Table Spread/5:70
We took a promise from the Children of Israel and sent messengers to them. Whenever a messenger came to them with something they did not like, they denied some of them and killed some of them.
The Table Spread/5:14
"We also took a promise from those who said, "We are Christians,"but they too forgot some of what they were warned about. So We put enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection. Allah will inform them of all that they did."
The Family Of Imran/3:181
"Allah hears the words of those who say: "Allah is poor and we are rich". We will record what they say and their unjust killing of the prophets and We will say: "Taste the torment"."
The Family Of Imran/3:183
"They say, "Allah has taken a promise from us that we shall not believe in any messenger unless he brings a sacrifice which the fire will eat". Say, "Messengers have come before me who brought you this with clear proofs. Why did you kill them if you are true to your word?"
