The Table Spread - 5:37
They wish to get out of the Fire, but they cannot. They are condemned to a permanent punishment.
The disbelievers want to get out of the Fire:
The Believers/23:103
As for those whose scales are light, they are the ones who will abide in Hell forever because they have caused themselves loss.
The Believers/23:104
The Fire will lick their faces while they are miserable therein.
The Believers/23:105
Were My Verses not recited to you and did you not deny them?
The Believers/23:106
"Our Lord,"they will say, "Our misfortune has overcome us; we have been a people who have gone astray."
The Believers/23:107
Our Lord, take us out of this place. If we return (to our former state), we are indeed wrongdoers.
The Believers/23:108
"He will say, "Cower there, do not speak to me."
The Believers/23:109
"A group of My servants used to say: "Our Lord, we believed, forgive us, have mercy on us, you are the most merciful of the merciful"."
The Believers/23:110
But you mocked them and forgot to remember Me because of them. You were laughing at them.
The Believers/23:111
"Today I have rewarded them for their patience; these are the winners"."
Originator/35:36
For those who disbelieve is the Fire of Hell. They will not be allowed to die, nor will the punishment of Hell be lightened for them. This is how We punish the ungrateful.
Originator/35:37
"Therein they cry out, "Our Lord, take us out so that we may do other deeds than what we used to do". Did We not make you live long enough for a person to take advice? And a warner came to you. So taste it. The wrongdoers have no helper."
The Pilgrimage/22:19
These are the two opposing groups who dispute about their Lord. Those who disbelieve will be clothed in garments of fire and boiling water will be poured over their heads.
The Pilgrimage/22:20
Whatever is in their bellies will be melted with it, along with their skins.

For them are maces of iron.

"Whenever they wish to come out of the tribulation therein, they will be turned back to it: "Taste the burning torment."
The Prostration/32:20
"And the abode of those who have gone astray is the Fire. Whenever they want to come out of it, they will be returned to it. It is said to them: "Taste the torment of the Fire which you were denying"."
The Forgiver/40:48
"The arrogant ones say, "We are all in it. Allah has already judged between His servants"."

"Those in the Fire say to the guards of Hell, "Plead with your Lord that He may lighten the torment from us at least for a day"."

"And they say, "Did not your messengers come to you with clear proofs?"They say, "Yes". Then they say, "Then beg yourselves. But the supplication of the disbelievers is fruitless."

If they endure, their abode is the Fire. But if they wish to be tolerated, their apologies will not be accepted.
The Kneeling/45:33
The evil that they used to do will appear to them, and that which they used to mock at will encompass them and hunt them.

"And it will be said to them: "We forget you today because you have forgotten your meeting today. Your abode is the Fire and you will have no helper."

"Because you mocked the signs of Allah and the life of this world deceived you."Consequently, they will not come out of it and their apologies will not be heard."
The Prohibition/66:7
O disbelievers, do not make excuses today. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.

"If you had only seen the guilty when they bowed their heads before their Lord: "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so turn us back so that we may act righteously; now we have firmly believed."

If We had willed, We could have given guidance to everyone, but My promise has come true that I will fill Hell with a portion of the jinn and mankind.

"They will say, "Our Lord, You killed us twice and raised us up twice, and now we confess our sins, is there any way out?"

Because when Allah ALONE was called, you disbelieved. You used to believe only when partners were associated with Him. The judgment belongs to Allah, the Exalted and the Great.

"When they all stand before Allah. The weak said to the arrogant ones: "We were your followers; can you save us a little from the torment of Allah?"They said: "If Allah had shown us a way, we would have shown you a way, so it is one for us whether we complain or hold on, and we have nowhere to escape."
