The Table Spread - 5:64
"The Jews said, "Allah´s hands are tied."In fact, they are the ones whose hands are tied. They were cursed for what they said. But He has both His hands open and He spends as He pleases. What has been sent down to you from your Lord will increase the rebellion and disbelief of many. We have put enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection, and whenever they light a fire for war, Allah extinguishes it. They go about in the earth to make mischief. And Allah does not love the mischief-makers."

"Allah had taken a promise from the Children of Israel and We sent twelve leaders from among them. Allah said: "I am with you if you observe the prayer, pay the zakat, believe in My messengers and respect them, and lend to Allah a good debt. I will cover your sins and give you gardens in which rivers flow. So whoever of you disbelieves after that has gone astray from the right path."

We cursed them and hardened their hearts because they broke their promises. They take the meaning of words out of context. They have forgotten some of what they were warned about. From most of them you will see constant betrayal. Forgive them and ignore them. Allah loves those who do good.

"We also took a promise from those who said, "We are Christians,"but they too forgot some of what they were warned about. So We put enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection. Allah will inform them of all that they did."

"Among mankind you will find the Jews and the polytheists the worst enemies of the believers. And closest in love to the believers are those who say: "We are Christians". For among them are priests and monks who are not arrogant."
