Honor Allah as much as you are able. Listen, obey and help for your own benefit. Those who are protected from the selfishness and stinginess of their nafs are the successful.
What is the intention?

How good it would be if you revealed your charity. But it is better if you hide them and give them to the needy, and that will cover some of your sins. Allah is aware of what you do.

The example of those who spend their money in the Way of Allah is like that of a grain which yields seven ears of grain, one hundred in each. Allah gives in multiples to whomever He wills. Allah is Generous, Knowing.

The Romans/30:39
The usury money which you give to increase in the wealth of the people does not increase with Allah. But as for the zakat which you give seeking Allah´s Pleasure, those who give it multiply their investment.
