The Heights/7:106
"He said: "If you have come with a sign (miracle) and you are truthful, bring it."
The Heights/7:107
He threw out his staff and it became a great serpent.
The Heights/7:108
He took out his hand and it became white for those who looked.
The Heights/7:109
"The elders of Pharaoh´s people discussed the matter and said: "This is an expert magician","
The Heights/7:110
He wants to drive you out of your land. What do you suggest?
The Heights/7:111
"They said: "Keep him and his brother waiting and send collectors to the cities."
The Heights/7:112
Let them bring to you all the expert magicians.
The Heights/7:113
"The magicians came to Pharaoh and said: "Is there a reward for us if we win?"
The Heights/7:114
"He said: "Yes,"he said: "You will also enter my inner circle."
The Heights/7:115
"They said: "Moses, throw, or we will throw."
The Heights/7:116
"He said: "You throw!"When they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and frightened them, so they produced a great magic."
The Heights/7:117
"So We revealed to Moses, "Throw your staff,"and it swallowed up what they had invented."
The Heights/7:118
So the truth came out and their deeds came to naught.
The Heights/7:119
There they were defeated and humiliated.
The Heights/7:120
And the magicians fell prostrate.
The Heights/7:121
"They said: "We believe in the Lord of the Universes","

To the Lord of Moses and Aaron...
The Heights/7:123
"Pharaoh: "Did you believe in him before I gave you permission? This is a plan, and you have set up this plan in the city so that you may drive out your people from it. But soon you will know."
The Heights/7:124
I will cut off your hands and your feet crosswise and then I will hang you all!
The Heights/7:125
"They said: "We shall return to our Lord."
The Heights/7:126
You take vengeance on us because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, give us strength to endure and take our lives as Muslims.

Prophet Jonah/10:73
They denied him. So We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark and We made them the rulers (of the earth). And We drowned those who denied Our Verses. Behold the fate of those who were warned.
Prophet Jonah/10:74
Then We sent messengers after him, and they brought clear proofs to their people. They would not believe what they had denied in the past. Thus do We mark the hearts of the unruly.
Prophet Jonah/10:75
Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his council with Our miracles, but they were arrogant and became a guilty people.
Prophet Jonah/10:75

Prophet Jonah/10:79
"Pharaoh said: "Bring me all the expert magicians."
Prophet Jonah/10:80
"When the sorcerers came, Moses said to them, "Throw what you will!"
Prophet Jonah/10:81
"When they threw, Moses said: "This is a magic that you have brought. Allah will surely make it void. Allah does not set right the deeds of the transgressors."
Prophet Jonah/10:82
Allah fulfills the truth by His words. Even if the guilty dislike it.
Prophet Jonah/10:83
Only a few of his people believed in Moses because they feared the torture and oppression of Pharaoh and his men. Pharaoh was a tyrant in the earth who exceeded the limits.
Ta-Ha/20:56
And We showed him all Our signs and proofs, but he denied and rejected.
Ta-Ha/20:57
"He said, "Have you come to drive us out of our land with your magic, Moses?"
Ta-Ha/20:58
We will show you a similar spell. Set a time for a rendezvous in a place convenient for both of us, so that neither you nor we will back out.
Ta-Ha/20:59
"He said: "The time of your meeting is the feast day. Let the people gather there before noon."

They discussed their affairs among themselves and kept their talk secret.
Ta-Ha/20:63
"They said, "The sole purpose of these two sorcerers is to drive you out of your land by their magic and to destroy your ideal way of life."
Ta-Ha/20:64
Come on, unite your plans and form a united front. The one who prevails today has succeeded.
Ta-Ha/20:65
"Moses,"they said, "why don´t you throw, or should we throw first?"
Ta-Ha/20:66
"He said, "No, you throw!"Then their ropes and their staffs appeared to him (Moses) as if they were moving because of their magic (hypnotic suggestion and illusion)."
Ta-Ha/20:67
Moses felt a fear within him.
Ta-Ha/20:68
"Do not be afraid,"We said, "You will prevail."
Ta-Ha/20:69
Throw what is in your right hand, it will swallow what they fabricate. What they do is but a sorcerer´s plan. What the sorcerer devises cannot succeed.
Ta-Ha/20:70
"The sorcerers prostrated themselves, saying: "We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses"."
Ta-Ha/20:71
"Did you believe in him before he gave you permission? He must be your master who taught you magic. I will cut off your hands and your feet crosswise and hang you from date palms, and you will know which of us has a harsher and more lasting punishment"."
Ta-Ha/20:72
"They said: "We do not choose you over the clear proofs that have come to us and over our Creator. Judge how you will judge. Your judgment is limited to the life of this world!"

The Poets/26:37
Have them bring you all the master magicians.
The Poets/26:38
The magicians were gathered together for the appointment of the appointed day.
The Poets/26:39
"And the people were told, "Will you also assemble?"

The Poets/26:50
"We do not care,"they said, "we shall return to our Lord."
