The Heights - 7:167
And your Lord has declared that He will send to them, until the Day of Resurrection, those who will inflict on them the worst of punishments. And your Lord is the swift Reckoner and surely He is Forgiving, Merciful.

When the time comes for the first one, We will send our servants with great power against you. They will enter your homes and investigate. It was a promise that had to be fulfilled.
The Night Journey/17:6
Then We will give you the ability to defeat them, and We will support you with wealth and descendants and multiply your warriors.
The Night Journey/17:7
If you do good, you do good for yourselves. If you do evil, it is for yourselves. When the time of the last of them comes, they will fill you with grief and enter the mosque as they entered it the first time. They will destroy what they have captured.
The Night Journey/17:8
Your Lord has mercy on you. If you return (to corruption), We will return (to punishment). We have made Hell encompassing for the disbelievers.
