Those whom you call upon besides Him can neither help you nor help themselves.
Why should only Allah be asked?

The true prayer is addressed to Him. Those whom they call to besides Him cannot answer them in any way. Like one who stretches out his hand for water, but nothing reaches his mouth. The prayer of the disbelievers is in vain.
