The Median people and the prophet Shu'ayb:
The Poets/26:176
The people of Ayka also denied the messengers.
The Poets/26:177
"Their brother Shuaib said to them, "Will you not be righteous?"
The Poets/26:178
I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you.
The Poets/26:179
Listen to Allah and follow me.
The Poets/26:180
And I do not ask any wage from you for this; my wage belongs only to the Lord of the Universes.

"And We sent to Median their brother Shu´ayb. He said: "O My people, worship Allah. You have no gods besides Him. A clear proof has come to you from your Lord. Measure and weigh exactly. Do not eat the people´s right. Do not make corruption in the earth after it has been leveled. This is better for you if you believe."
The Heights/7:86
Do not sit at the head of every path to pervert the way of Allah and to threaten the believers and turn them away from it. Think how He multiplied you when you were few in number. See how is the end of the corrupters.
The Heights/7:87
Since some of you have believed in the Message sent with me and some of you have not believed, then be patient until Allah judges between us. He is the best of judges.
The Heights/7:88
"The arrogant elders of his people said: "Shu´ayb, either we will expel you and those who believe with you from our city or you will return to our religion."He said: "Even if we do not want to?"
The Heights/7:89
"If we return to it after Allah has delivered us from your religion, we would be ascribing a lie to Allah. We cannot return to it unless Allah, our Lord, wills it. Our Lord encompasses all things with His knowledge. We put our trust in Allah alone. Set between us and our people with the truth, O our Lord. You are the best of revealers.
The Heights/7:90
The prominent disbelievers of his people said, "If you follow Shu´ayb, you will be losers."
The Heights/7:91
Then a tremor seized them and they fell on their knees in their houses.
The Heights/7:92
Those who denied Shu´ayb disappeared as if they had never lived there. Those who denied Shu´ayb, they were the real losers.

Prophet Hud/11:85
O my people, measure and weigh exactly with justice. Do not shortchange the people and do not commit evil by corrupting the earth.
Prophet Hud/11:86
What Allah has left (lawful) is better for you if you believe. I am not a watchman over you.
Prophet Hud/11:87
"They said: "Shu´ayb, does your prayer require us to give up what our ancestors used to serve or to turn our trade as we wish? You are indeed mild-tempered and wise."
Prophet Hud/11:88
"My people,"he said, "look, what if I have a clear proof from my Lord and He has bestowed upon me a good favor from Himself? It is not because I wish to go against you that I forbid you certain things. I only want to reform you to the best of my ability, and my success is only from Allah. I trust in Him and turn to Him."
Prophet Hud/11:89
My people, do not let your opposition to me bring upon you a calamity like that which befell the people of Noah, or the people of Hud, or the people of Salih. Moreover, the people of Lot are not far from you.
Prophet Hud/11:90
Ask forgiveness from your Lord, then repent to Him. Surely my Lord is Most Merciful, Loving.

"He said: "O my people, is my tribe superior to Allah that you have turned away from Him? My Lord is the Surrounder of all that you do."
Prophet Hud/11:93
"He said: "My people, do what you can, and I will do it, and you will know in the future to whom the humiliating torment will come and who is a liar. Wait in hope, and I wait in hope with you."

The Repentance/9:70
Did not the news of those before them reach them, like the people of Noah, and the people of Ad, Thamud, and the people of Abraham, and the inhabitants of Median, and the inhabitants of the overturned countries (Sodom and Gomorrah)? Their messengers had gone to them with clear proofs. Allah was not oppressing them, but they were oppressing themselves.
