The Spoils of War - 8:26
Remember when you were few in number, oppressed and despised in the earth, and you feared that people would snatch you away. He provided you with a home and supported you with His help and gave you sustenance from good things so that you might give thanks.
If we give thanks to Allah:
The Companies/39:7
If you disbelieve, Allah has no need of you. But He does not like His servants to be disbelievers. He is pleased with you if you are grateful. No one bears the burden of sin. Then your return is to your Lord and He will inform you of what you have done. He knows the essence of the breasts
Prophet Abraham/14:7
"Your Lord had said, "If you are grateful, I will give you more abundantly, but if you are ungrateful, My punishment will be severe."
The Cow/2:152
Remember Me that I may remember you, and thank Me, and do not be ungrateful.
The Family Of Imran/3:144
Muhammad is only a messenger and many messengers have come before him. If he dies or is killed, will you turn back? The apostates can do no harm to Allah. Allah will reward those who give thanks.
The Family Of Imran/3:145
No one can die without Allah´s permission. Death has an appointed term. Whoever desires the blessing of this world, We will give him of it, and whoever desires the blessing of the Hereafter, We will give him of it. We will reward those who give thanks.
The Women/4:147
Why should Allah punish you if you give thanks and believe? Allah is the Recompenser, the Mighty.
The Ants/27:40
"And one who had knowledge of the Book said, "I can bring it to you faster than the time it takes you to blink your eye."When he saw him standing beside him, he said, "This is a favor from my Lord. He is testing me whether I will be thankful or ungrateful. And he who is ungrateful, let him know that my Lord is Rich, honored."
Luqman/31:12
"We gave wisdom to Lokman: "You should give thanks to Allah."Whoever is grateful is grateful for himself, and whoever is ungrateful, surely Allah is not needy, the Most Praised."
