The Repentance - 9:103
Take alms from their money to purify them and glorify them, and encourage them and support them, for your support pleases them. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
How is alms given?
The Cow/2:219
"They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: Say: "There is a great sin in both of them and benefits for mankind, but their sin is greater than their benefit."They also ask you what they should give in charity: Say, "The surplus."This is how Allah explains His verses so that you may reflect"
The Criterion/25:67
They are neither extravagant nor stingy in their giving, but spend in balance between the two.

Those who give their money day and night, secretly and openly for charity, their reward is with their Lord. There is no fear for them and they will not grieve.

It is He Who created the gardens with and without bowers, and the dates, the crops, the olives and the pomegranates, similar or different. When each of them bears fruit, eat of its fruit and give its due on the day of harvest. Do not be extravagant; He does not love the extravagant.

How good it would be if you revealed your charity. But it is better if you hide them and give them to the needy, and that will cover some of your sins. Allah is aware of what you do.

You cannot be a righteous person unless you give of what you love as economic aid. Whatever you give, Allah surely knows it.

Believers, give as charity from what you have earned and from what We have brought forth for you from the earth. And do not try to give as charity your ill-gotten wealth, which if it were given to you, you would only accept it with your eyes closed. Know that Allah is Rich, Praiseworthy.
The Repentance/9:60
Alms, as an obligation from Allah, should be given to the poor, to the needy, to those who labor, to sympathizers, for the freedom of slaves, to debtors, to the way of Allah, and to the wayfarers. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
