The Repentance - 9:120
Neither the people of the city nor the Arabs around them should lag behind the Messenger of Allah, nor should they prefer themselves to him. For every thirst, fatigue and hunger they suffer in the way of Allah, every step they take in the way of Allah that will anger the disbelievers, and every success they gain against the enemy will be written down as a credit for them. Allah never loses the reward of those who do good.
A general description of the disbelievers:

We have sent the messengers only as bearers of glad tidings and warners. The disbelievers strive to destroy the truth with falsehood and falsehood. They ridiculed My signs and what they were warned about.

The Women/4:76
Those who believe fight in the way of Allah. And the disbelievers fight in the way of the transgressors and despots. So fight the friends of Satan; Satan´s plan is weak.
