Questions to the Verse (3)
What is the right way?
In 5:20 to 26, the Jews are given the example of their previous disobedience to Allah and His Messenger, despite the many blessings, freedoms and miracles they were given, and Muhammad (pbuh) is admonished not to feel responsible for the people of the Book who rejected his messenger.
Prophet Muhammad held himself responsible for denying the people. Our Lord reassured him by informing him that past peoples had treated the messengers in the same way and that the messenger was only responsible for the revelation and not for the unbelievers.
