بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
17:1 Most High is He Who took His servant by night from the Holy Mosque (in Makkah) to the farthest mosque (the place of prostration), around which He made it blessed, to show him some of Our signs. Surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing
17:2 "In the same way, We gave Moses the Book. to guide the Children of Israel to the truth: "Do not take any other guardian besides Me."
17:3 They are the descendants of those whom We carried with Noah; he was a grateful servant.
17:4 "And We said to the Children of Israel in the Book: "Twice you will make mischief in the earth, and you will be arrogant to the utmost."
17:5 When the time comes for the first one, We will send our servants with great power against you. They will enter your homes and investigate. It was a promise that had to be fulfilled.
17:6 Then We will give you the ability to defeat them, and We will support you with wealth and descendants and multiply your warriors.
17:7 If you do good, you do good for yourselves. If you do evil, it is for yourselves. When the time of the last of them comes, they will fill you with grief and enter the mosque as they entered it the first time. They will destroy what they have captured.
17:8 Your Lord has mercy on you. If you return (to corruption), We will return (to punishment). We have made Hell encompassing for the disbelievers.
17:9 This Qur´an guides to the best path and gives glad tidings of a great reward to the righteous believers
17:10 As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, for them We have prepared a painful torment.
17:11 When man thinks he is praying for something good, he is actually praying for something bad. Man is very hasty
17:12 We have made the night and the day two signs (proofs), and We have blotted out the sign of the night and made the sign of the day light, that you may seek the Blessings of your Lord and know the reckoning of the years. We explain everything in detail.
17:13 We have tied the destiny of every human being to his own neck (personal choice). On the Day of Resurrection, We will make a record for him and publish it
17:14 Read your record. Today you are sufficient for yourself as an accountant
17:15 Whoever is guided is guided for himself. Whoever goes astray goes astray to his own detriment. No one bears the burden of another. We do not punish anyone without sending a messenger
17:16 When We wish to destroy a community, We allow its prominent wealthy people to do evil there. Thus the promise to that community is fulfilled and We destroy it.
17:17 And how many a people did We destroy after Noah, and your Lord is sufficient as a Seer and Seer of the sins of His servants
17:18 Whoever desires this transitory world, We give therein as much as We will to whom We will. Then We will condemn him to Hell, condemned and dismissed.
17:19 Whoever chooses the Hereafter and strives hard as a believer, their effort will be appreciated.
17:20 And We will deliver to all of them, to them and to these, of the Blessings of your Lord. The bounties of your Lord are not limited.
