بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
18:1 Praise be to Allah, Who has sent down the Book to His servant and has left no crookedness in it.
18:2 A perfect (Book). to warn of a severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to the righteous believers of a good reward for them.
18:5 Neither they nor their fathers had any knowledge of this. What a great word comes out of their mouths! They say nothing but lies.
18:6 If they do not believe this, will you blame yourself after them, and will you grieve?
18:7 We have adorned the earth with its materials to test who will be righteous.
18:9 Do you think that those in the cave and the numbers related to them are anything other than our interesting proofs?
18:10 "When the youths took refuge in the cave, they said: "Our Lord, shower upon us Your mercy and show us a way out of this situation"."
18:11 So We covered their ears in the cave for a numbered number of years.
18:12 Then We resurrected them, so that We might know which group was the best in reckoning the duration of their stay therein.
18:13 We relate to you their story as the truth. They were young men who believed in their Lord. We increased their guidance.
18:14 "When they got up, We had made their hearts firm: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We shall have no gods besides Him. Otherwise, we would have spoken a false word."
18:15 This people of ours have taken other gods besides Him. Should they not have proved by clear proof that they are gods? Who is more unjust than he who fabricates a lie against Allah?
18:16 So since you have separated from them and those whom they serve besides Allah, take refuge in the cave. It may be that your Lord will shower upon you His mercy and prepare for you a favorable outcome in your affair.
18:17 When dawn came, while they were in the cave, you used to see the sun moving to the right over their cave, and when it set, you used to see it licking them and sliding to the left. This is one of the signs of Allah. Whomsoever Allah guides, he has found the truth; and whomsoever He leads astray, for him you will not find a friend who will enlighten.
18:18 You think them awake, though they are asleep. We turn them to the right and to the left. And their dogs stretch out their arms on the threshold. If you had looked at them, you would have turned and fled from them and you would have been filled with fear because of them.
18:19 "So We woke them up so that they might ask one another. One of them asked, "How long did you stay?"They said, "We stayed for a day or a part of a day.""Your Lord knows better how long you stayed. Let us send one of you to the city with this money, and let him choose the food that is good and delicious, and bring you a provision. He should be careful not to attract anyone´s attention,"they added."
18:20 If they recognize you, they will stone you or convert you to their religion, in which case you will never succeed.
