21-The Prophets

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
6 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:1 The reckoning of mankind is near, but they still turn away in disbelief. اِقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ ف۪ي غَفْلَةٍ مُعْرِضُونَۚ
4 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:2 Whenever a new message (dhikr) comes to them from their Lord, they listen to it without taking it seriously. مَا يَأْت۪يهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْرٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ مُحْدَثٍ اِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَۙ

The wrongdoers talked to each other in secret: "Is this man not a man like you? Are you going to be bewitched?" لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْۜ وَاَسَرُّوا النَّجْوٰىۗ اَلَّذ۪ينَ ظَلَمُواۗ هَلْ هٰذَٓا اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْۚ اَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَاَنْتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
2 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:4 "He said, "My Lord knows every word in heaven and earth. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. " قَالَ رَبّ۪ي يَعْلَمُ الْقَوْلَ فِي السَّمَٓاءِ وَالْاَرْضِۘ وَهُوَ السَّم۪يعُ الْعَل۪يمُ
7 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:5 "They even said, "It is a vain imagination,"and, "He has fabricated it,"and, "He is a poet; let him bring us miracles like the messengers of old." بَلْ قَالُٓوا اَضْغَاثُ اَحْلَامٍ بَلِ افْتَرٰيهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌۚ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِاٰيَةٍ كَمَٓا اُرْسِلَ الْاَوَّلُونَ
7 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:6 None of the people whom We destroyed before them believed; will these believe now? مَٓا اٰمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ اَهْلَكْنَاهَاۚ اَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
6 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:7 We did not send before you any messenger except to men, but We revealed to them; ask the experts if you do not know. وَمَٓا اَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ اِلَّا رِجَالاً نُوح۪ٓي اِلَيْهِمْ فَسْـَٔلُٓوا اَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
2 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:8 We did not create them as bodies that did not eat, nor were they immortal. وَمَا جَعَلْنَاهُمْ جَسَداً لَا يَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا خَالِد۪ينَ
5 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:9 Then We fulfilled Our promise to them; We saved them with those whom We willed, and We destroyed those who went astray. ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَاَنْجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَنْ نَشَٓاءُ وَاَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِف۪ينَ
5 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:10 We have sent down to you a Book containing the Message for you. Will you not use your intellect? لَقَدْ اَنْزَلْـنَٓا اِلَيْكُمْ كِتَاباً ف۪يهِ ذِكْرُكُمْۜ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ۟
7 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:11 And how many nations did We destroy because they were unjust, and We brought after them other peoples. وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَاَنْشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْماً اٰخَر۪ينَ
3 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:12 As soon as they felt Our torment, they tried to flee from it. فَلَمَّٓا اَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَٓا اِذَا هُمْ مِنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَۜ
3 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:13 Do not flee, but return to your homes where you lived in luxury and extravagance. For you will be questioned. لَا تَرْكُضُوا وَارْجِعُٓوا اِلٰى مَٓا اُتْرِفْتُمْ ف۪يهِ وَمَسَاكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْـَٔلُونَ
4 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:14 "They said, "Woe to us, we were indeed the wrongdoers." قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَٓا اِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِم۪ينَ
2 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:15 They will keep repeating this supplication until they have devoured them. فَمَا زَالَتْ تِلْكَ دَعْوٰيهُمْ حَتّٰى جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَص۪يداً خَامِد۪ينَ
5 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:16 We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for play. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَٓاءَ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِب۪ينَ
3 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:17 If We had wished to have a pastime, We would have made it from Our own Presence. Yes, if We had wished such a thing! لَوْ اَرَدْنَٓا اَنْ نَتَّخِذَ لَهْواً لَاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِنْ لَدُنَّاۗ اِنْ كُنَّا فَاعِل۪ينَ
3 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:18 Nay, We throw the truth upon falsehood and it crushes and destroys it. Woe to you for what you ascribe. بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَاِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌۜ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ

Those who are with Him are not arrogant in worshipping Him, nor do they pause. وَلَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِه۪ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَۚ
3 Show the verses in the original text as well Show the verses in the original text as well 21:20 They glorify and remember Him day and night, never tiring. يُسَبِّحُونَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ
