26:201
They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment.
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِه۪ حَتّٰى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْاَل۪يمَۙ
|
26:202
It will come to them suddenly, when they do not expect it.
فَيَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَۙ
|
26:203
"Then they will say: "Are we not given a little while longer?"
فَيَقُولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنْظَرُونَۜ
|
26:204
Are they still defiant against Our punishment?
اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
|
26:205
As you see, if We let them live for years
اَفَرَاَيْتَ اِنْ مَتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِن۪ينَۙ
|
26:206
And then that which they were promised should befall them,
ثُمَّ جَٓاءَهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَۙ
|
26:207
The blessings they tasted will not benefit them.
مَٓا اَغْنٰى عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَۜ
|
26:208
We did not destroy any city without a warner.
وَمَٓا اَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ اِلَّا لَهَا مُنْذِرُونَۗۛ
|
26:209
This is a warning and a message; for We do not wrong.
ذِكْرٰى۠ۛ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِم۪ينَ
|
26:210
It has not been sent down by the devils.
وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاط۪ينُ
|
26:211
They are neither able nor capable of it.
وَمَا يَنْبَغ۪ي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَط۪يعُونَۜ
|
26:212
Because they are barred from hearing.
اِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَۜ
|
26:213
Do not invoke any other god with Allah, lest you be punished.
فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهاً اٰخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّب۪ينَۚ
|
26:214
Warn the people closest to you.
وَاَنْذِرْ عَش۪يرَتَكَ الْاَقْرَب۪ينَۙ
|
26:215
And lower your wing to the believers who follow you.
وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّـبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَۚ
|
26:216
"If they oppose you, say, "I am far from what you do."
فَاِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ اِنّ۪ي بَر۪ٓيءٌ مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَۚ
|
26:217
Trust in the Supreme and Most Merciful.
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَز۪يزِ الرَّح۪يمِۙ
|
26:218
Who sees you when you wake up (for worship and reflection).
اَلَّذ۪ي يَرٰيكَ ح۪ينَ تَقُومُۙ
|
26:219
And your movement among those who prostrate.
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِد۪ينَ
|
26:220
Because He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
اِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّم۪يعُ الْعَل۪يمُ
