بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
28:21 "He fled from there in fear, watching the surroundings. He said: "My Lord, save me from this unjust people."
28:22 "When he turned toward Median, he said, "I hope my Lord will guide me to the truth."
28:23 "When he reached the water of Median, he found there a group of people watering their cattle. Behind them he saw two women being pushed and shoved. He said to them, "What do you want to do?""We cannot water until the shepherds water and leave. Our father is a very old man."
28:24 "He watered for them, then withdrew into the shade and said, "My Lord, I am in need of whatever You will grant me."
28:25 "Soon one of them came to him, ashamed, and said, "My father wants to pay you for watering for us."When he met him and told him what had happened to him, he said, "Do not be afraid,"he said, "You have been saved from the oppressors."
28:26 "One of them said, "My father, give him work. He is the best of those you have hired; he is strong and trustworthy."
28:27 "He said, "I want to marry you to one of my daughters on condition that you work for me for eight pilgrimages. You can make it ten (years) if you wish. I do not want to cause you any hardship. If Allah wills, you will find me a righteous person."
28:28 "He said, "This is a contract between you and me. Whatever term I fulfill, there will be no enmity against me. Allah is the guarantor of what we have spoken."
28:29 "When Moses fulfilled that term and set out with his family, he saw a fire on the slope of Tur and said to his family, "Stay here, I have seen a fire; perhaps I will bring you news of it or a fire-wood so that you may warm yourselves with it."
28:30 "When he reached there, he was called out to him from the edge of the right slope in the holy place where the (burning) tree was: "Moses, I am Allah, the Lord of the Universe."
28:31 "Throw your staff."When he saw it quivering like a serpent, he turned and fled without looking back. "Moses, return, do not fear, you are safe."
28:32 Put your hand in your bosom, and it will come out perfectly white. Fold down your wings, which are spread in fear. These two are two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his leading party. They have been a people who have gone astray.
28:33 "He said, "My Lord, I had killed one of them. I fear that they will kill me."
28:34 Besides, my brother Aaron speaks better than me. Send him with me as a helper to support me. I fear that they will deny me.
28:35 "He said, "We will strengthen your biceps with your brother and give you both such authority that they will not be able to touch you. You two and those who follow you will triumph by Our miracles."
28:36 "When Moses went to them with clear signs and miracles, they said: "This is only a fabricated magic. We have not heard of such a thing from our forefathers before."
28:37 "Moses said, "My Lord knows well who is the one who comes with a guidance from Him and who will be victorious in the end. The wrongdoers will never succeed."
28:38 "Pharaoh said, "O you elders, I do not know a better god for you than I. Haman, prepare bricks for me by kindling a fire in the clay and build a tower so that I may reach the God of Moses. I believe that he is a liar."
28:39 He and his army became arrogant in the earth unjustly and thought that they would not return to Us.
28:40 We seized them and their army and threw them into the sea. Behold how is the end of the wrongdoers.
