37:1
And to those who arrange them in rows,
وَالصَّٓافَّاتِ صَفاًّۙ
|
37:2
Those who push and drive,
فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْراًۙ
|
37:3
And to those who read the message
فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْراًۙ
|
37:4
That your God is one.
اِنَّ اِلٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌۜ
|
37:5
Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, Lord of the east.
رَبُّ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِۜ
|
37:6
We adorned the lowest heaven with planets,
اِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَٓاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِز۪ينَةٍۨ الْـكَوَاكِبِۙ
|
37:7
We have made a protection against every stubborn devil.
وَحِفْظاً مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍۚ
|
37:8
They cannot listen to the great assembly; they are thrown from every side.
لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ اِلَى الْمَلَأِ الْاَعْلٰى وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍۗ
|
37:9
They will be expelled; they deserve a torment everlasting.
دُحُوراً وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌۙ
|
37:10
If a word is snatched away, it is followed by a piercing ray.
اِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَاَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
|
37:11
"Ask them, "Are they harsher in creation or Our creation?"We created them from a sticky clay."
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ اَهُمْ اَشَدُّ خَلْقاً اَمْ مَنْ خَلَقْنَاۜ اِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِنْ ط۪ينٍ لَازِبٍ

37:12
They mock while you admire them.
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَۖ
|
37:13
They do not take admonition when they are reminded.
وَاِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَۖ
|
37:14
When they see a proof, they ridicule it.
وَاِذَا رَاَوْا اٰيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَۖ
|
37:15
"They say, "This is nothing but a manifest magic."
وَقَالُٓوا اِنْ هٰذَٓا اِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُب۪ينٌۚ
|
37:16
Shall we be resurrected after we have died and become dust and bones?
ءَاِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَۙ
|
37:17
Even our ancestors before us?
اَوَاٰبَٓاؤُ۬نَا الْاَوَّلُونَۜ
|
37:18
"Say, "Yes, and despised."
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَاَنْتُمْ دَاخِرُونَۚ
|
37:19
It is a single touch. Then they (get up and) look.
فَاِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَاِذَا هُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ
|
37:20
"Woe to us!"they say, "This is the Day of Judgment."
وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هٰذَا يَوْمُ الدّ۪ينِ
