37:61
Those who work should work for it.
لِمِثْلِ هٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَامِلُونَ
|
37:62
Is this a better abode or the tree of oleander?
اَذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُزُلاً اَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ
|
37:63
We have made it a test for the wrongdoers.
اِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِلظَّالِم۪ينَ
|
37:64
It is a tree from the bottom of Hell.
اِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ ف۪ٓي اَصْلِ الْجَح۪يمِۙ
|
37:65
Its buds are like the heads of devils.
طَلْعُهَا كَاَنَّهُ رُؤُ۫سُ الشَّيَاط۪ينِ
|
37:66
They will fill their bellies by eating from it.
فَاِنَّهُمْ لَاٰكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِؤُ۫نَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَۜ

37:67
On top of that there is for them a hellish cocktail.
ثُمَّ اِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْباً مِنْ حَم۪يمٍۚ

37:68
Then their return is to Hell.
ثُمَّ اِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَاِلَى الْجَح۪يمِ

37:69
They found their forefathers astray.
اِنَّهُمْ اَلْفَوْا اٰبَٓاءَهُمْ ضَٓالّ۪ينَۙ
|
37:70
And they were blindly following in their footsteps.
فَهُمْ عَلٰٓى اٰثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ

37:71
Many before them had gone astray in the same way.
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ اَكْثَرُ الْاَوَّل۪ينَۙ
|
37:72
We had sent warners from among them.
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا ف۪يهِمْ مُنْذِر۪ينَ
|
37:73
See how was the end of those who were warned.
فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَر۪ينَۙ
|
37:74
Except their servants who devoted themselves to Allah alone.
اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الْمُخْلَص۪ينَ۟
|
37:75
Noah called out to Us and how well We answered him.
وَلَقَدْ نَادٰينَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُج۪يبُونَۚ
|
37:76
We saved him and his family from the great calamity.
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَاَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظ۪يمِۘ
|
37:77
And We gave life to his progeny.
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاق۪ينَۘ
|
37:78
And We left him for those after him.
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْاٰخِر۪ينَۘ
|
37:79
Peace be upon Noah throughout history.
سَلَامٌ عَلٰى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَم۪ينَ
|
37:80
This is how We reward those who do good.
اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِن۪ينَ
