بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
42:3 This is what Allah, the Exalted and Wise, reveals to you and those before you.
42:4 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. He is the Exalted, the Great.
42:5 The heavens will almost crack. The angels will praise and glorify their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on the earth. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
42:6 Allah watches over those who take others besides Him as guardians. You are not their advocate
42:7 Thus do We reveal to you a Qur´an in a perfect language so that you may warn the capital city and its environs and warn them of the Day of Gathering which is to come. Some of them will enter Paradise and some will enter Hell.
42:8 Had Allah willed, He could have made them one people. But He lets whom He wills into His mercy. The wrongdoers have no owner or helper.
42:9 Have they taken guardians (owners) besides Him? The only guardian is Allah, He is the One Who raises the dead, and He is Almighty.
42:10 If you disagree in any part of this Message, the judgment belongs to Allah. Such is my Lord Allah. In Him I put my trust and to Him I turn.
42:11 It is He Who created the heavens and the earth by splitting them. He created mates for you from among yourselves, and He created livestock in pairs. Thus He produces you therein. There is nothing like Him. He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
42:12 To Him belongs all control of the heavens and the earth. He gives abundant sustenance to whom He wills or withholds it. He is All-Knowing.
42:13 "We have established for you the religion which He commanded Noah before, and We commanded Abraham, Moses and Jesus as We commanded you: "Keep this religion true and do not differ in it."But what you call them to is too heavy for those who associate partners. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to the truth those who turn to Him."
42:14 After knowledge had reached them, they differed only because of envy among themselves. Had it not been for the promise of your Lord for a definite time, judgment would have been given between them at once. And those who inherit the Book after them are in doubt about it.
42:15 "Call to it and follow it as you have been commanded. Do not follow their desires and say: "I believe in the Book which Allah has sent down to me, and I am commanded to do justice among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. What we have done is for us and what you have done is for you. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will bring us together. To Him is the final return."
42:16 Those who argue about Allah after His call has been answered, their arguments are invalid in the sight of their Lord. They have deserved wrath and there is a severe torment for them
42:17 It is Allah Who has sent down the Book with truth and justice. What do you know, perhaps the Hour (the end of the world) is near.
42:18 Those who do not believe in it challenge about it. Those who believe in it are anxious about it and know that it is true. Those who doubt about the Hour are in great error.
42:19 Allah is the Beneficent to His servants. He sustains whom He wills and/or whom He wills. He is the Mighty, the Superior.
42:20 Whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We increase his reward. And whoever desires the reward of this world, We will give it to him, but he will have no share in the Hereafter.
