On that Day the friend will not protect his friend from anything, nor will they be helped.
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْن۪ي مَوْلًى عَنْ مَوْلًى شَيْـٔاً وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَۙ
|
44:42
Except only those whom Allah has mercy on. He is the Superior, the Most Merciful.
اِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ اللّٰهُۜ اِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَز۪يزُ الرَّح۪يمُ۟

44:43
Surely the tree of oleander
اِنَّ شَجَرَتَ الزَّقُّومِۙ
|
44:44
It is the food of the sinner.
طَعَامُ الْاَث۪يمِۚۛ
|
44:45
Like concentrated acid and will boil in the stomachs
كَالْمُهْلِۚۛ يَغْل۪ي فِي الْبُطُونِۙ
|
44:46
Like boiling hot water.
كَغَلْيِ الْحَم۪يمِ
|
44:47
Seize him and drag him to the center of Hell.
خُذُوهُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ اِلٰى سَوَٓاءِ الْجَح۪يمِۚ
|
44:48
Then pour on his head the torment of boiling water.
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِه۪ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَم۪يمِۜ

44:49
Taste it; you were so superior and honored!
ذُقْۙ ۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَز۪يزُ الْكَر۪يمُ
|
44:50
This is what you have been doubting.
اِنَّ هٰذَا مَا كُنْتُمْ بِه۪ تَمْتَرُونَ

44:51
And the righteous are in a secure station.
اِنَّ الْمُتَّق۪ينَ ف۪ي مَقَامٍ اَم۪ينٍۙ

44:52
In gardens and springs.
ف۪ي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍۚ
|
44:53
They sit facing each other in garments of silk and atlas.
يَلْبَسُونَ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَاِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَقَابِل۪ينَۚ
|
44:54
This is so; We have given them beautiful wives.
كَذٰلِكَ۠ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ ع۪ينٍۜ
|
44:55
They ask for every fruit in complete security.
يَدْعُونَ ف۪يهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ اٰمِن۪ينَۙ
|
44:56
They will taste no death therein except the first death. He has protected them from the torment of Hell.
لَا يَذُوقُونَ ف۪يهَا الْمَوْتَ اِلَّا الْمَوْتَةَ الْاُو۫لٰىۚ وَوَقٰيهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَح۪يمِۙ

As a favor from your Lord. That is the great victory.
فَضْلاً مِنْ رَبِّكَۜ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظ۪يمُ
|
44:58
We have made it easy in your language that they may take admonition.
فَاِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
|
44:59
So wait, and they are waiting.
فَارْتَقِبْ اِنَّهُمْ مُرْتَقِبُونَ
