| بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ | |
|
46:21
"Remember when Ad´s brother warned his people in the sand dunes. Before and after that he said: "Do not serve none but Allah. I fear for you the torment of a great day"."

46:22
"Have you come to us to lead us astray from our gods? Bring us what you have promised us if you are truthful"."
|
|
|
46:23
Only Allah has the knowledge of it. I announce to you what has been sent with me, but I see that you are an ignorant people.

|

46:24
"When they finally saw it spreading and heading towards their valley, they said: "This is a cloud that will give us rain. Nay, this is a storm with a painful torment which you have challenged to come."

|
|
46:25
It destroys everything by the command of your Lord. When morning came, nothing could be seen except their houses. Thus do We punish the guilty people.

|
|
46:26
We placed them in places where We did not place you. We gave them the senses of hearing and sight and brains. But neither their hearing nor their sight nor their brains were of any use to them, because they deliberately disbelieved in the signs of Allah. And that which they mocked at surrounded them.

And how many cities around you We destroyed, and We explained to them the Verses that they might return.

46:28
Should not the gods they had taken besides Allah to draw near to Him have helped them? Rather, they abandoned them. Such are their lies and fabrications.

46:29
"We directed a group of the jinn to you to listen to the Qur´an. When they came to it, they said, "Silence."When they had finished (reading), they returned to their people as warners."

|
|
46:30
"O our people,"they said, "we have listened to a Book sent down after Moses, confirming what was before him. It guides to the truth and to a straight path."

|
46:31
O our people, answer him who calls to Allah. Believe in Him that He may forgive you your sins and protect you from a painful torment.
|
|
|
46:32
Those who do not answer the call to Allah will not escape on the earth. Nor will they have any friend against Him. They are in manifest error.
|

|
46:33
Do they not think that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and is not weary in creating them, can raise the dead? Yes, He is all-powerful.

46:34
"On the Day when the disbelievers are presented to the Fire: "Is this not the truth?"They will say, "Yes, by our Lord."He will say: "Taste the torment because you disbelieved"."

46:35
Be patient, as the apostles who had resolution and determination were patient, and do not hasten for them. When they see what is promised to them, it is as if they had remained in the world for an hour of the day. This is a declaration: Who will be destroyed but a people who have gone astray?
